I don't know when we'll get more previews but Brooks fans should hope that they show him coming back and talking to Des because if they make it seem like she's going to turn him away you know he'll be the f1 for sure.  

I really don't think Bres fans have to hope for anything. The previews for the last few episodes have been twisted to show Brooks as indecisive. They cut away with him being asked a question and giving off a perplexed look yet when the episode airs it's nothing like the preview. Brooks is questioning the process of this show because his feelings for Des are real but there are still things he worries about like getting so invested and then landing in Zak's shoes and being so gobsmacked. Brooks is trying to project a real world love and relationship and not put on rose colored glasses like the other guys. For that he's misconstrued yet when Chris' mom brings up real world issues she's called level headed. Brooks has already stated being on the same page and contemplated the union of marriage with Des. Is it wrong that Zak's exit might have shook him up? He saw how emotional Des got and was the only guy with tears seeing how hard it was for Des. The other guys were just focused on will I get a rose or not. Both Drew and Chris think they are Des' F1 and only Brooks is doubtful.
If there's anyone who has to hope, it's the fans of guys not named Brooks. No matter how the previews were bent, Brooks always came through as he will in the Finale.

I really don't think the bolded is true...at least for Chris. There have been several times when Chris has noted how Des is behaving with Brooks. He sees their relationship and I don't see him thinking that he is F1. In fact, I think he is actually questioning his own relationship with her and comparing it with what he is seeing between her and Brooks.

agreed. Chris is a thoughtful and receptive man. He is empathycal and kind hearted (Des`s words, not mine). His personal conflict to overcome is definitely Des`s relation to Brooks. Although he has addressed it multiple times, he has a confidence at the same time, that on different occasions they shared a very unique connection/experience that exclusively applied only for the two of them. Chris`s word = no one else..

I think Chris is normally confident overall. I am sure he wonders about Brooks/Des relationship..but I do not think he allows that to influence his choices. I like him. I do not think he is for Des, but he seems like a stellar individual. Even with the WAY TMI nose adjustment. Good guy, really good guy. Cute too.

Agree. I do think he is a good guy, however, I still think he doesn't have what it takes to be the next lead. Reminds me too much of Des herself. Now in real life, I think it would be a whole different story.

Ok so obviously it is Chris with the helicopter date and therefore Drew with the drive up the coast.
Things is we don't know where Drew was actually staying to know if he had to drive to Shirley heights for their picnic or not. If he was actually at St james it could not be that much of a drive.

Where is the horses date taking place at ? Close by to the verandah ?

Now I'm confused again.  I thought that the Rendezvous Bay with the horse riding was part of the FD and Shirley Heights was LCD.  Has this changed???

I'm not sure because it makes more sense to talk about driving up the coast when you're going to do something on a beach. If it were the Shirley Heights date you'd think they'd talk about the picnic or the view and not the drive. I wasn't before but now I'm leaning towards the horseback/beach being the FD especially now with the description. Of course they can't be more detailed so we'd know for sure.

I agree.  Hopefully we get a more fleshed out episode description soon ! But IMO the drive up the coastline  would end at a beach and not on a hill (Shirley Heights). Besides, even before we got this episode description a few of us have been thinking that Shirley Heights was LCD. IMO it is much like Em/Brads LCD activity. I thought Beach was more FD. Now it turns out that it is a drive + ???. We don't know yet.

So, a drive, a horseback ride, and beach time...kind of a lot to fit into one.  Wonder about the horseback ride/beach being the FD, then drive to shirley heights/picnic the LCD?  OR am I totally confussing things?

We already know the drive is for the FD. It makes more sense that the drive goes with Rendezvous Bay because it's farther away.

Re: the 2 part finale. To me the cliffhanger is that Brooks, the one Des professed love for, left. Will she be left alone in the end or will she end up with one of the other two? Or will Brooks come back?

There's no way that Des can't make a decision about who to send home f3. Brooks isn't there so it's going to be like Ali's other than we're fairly sure Brooks returns.

Re the bolded,  I said this elsewhere too but I feel pretty sure that Brooks leaves during the crying meltdown scenes, Des carries on at the RC with just Chris and Drew a la Ali but is clearly a mess.  After the RC, still same episode Brooks appears.  No guess on how, Des goes to him, or he comes to her etc.  Then there are 2 obvious cliff hanger options - end the show on does she take him back? or we see her take him back right at the end of the episode and know she still has 3 guys heading into the finale.  Two-part Finale.

Possible but why bother with all the previews showing him leave if we're going to know he's back before the finale part 2? The only reason they're interesting (in a dramatic tv way) is that Des could possibly be alone if the one she loves leaves and there's no indication he's coming back. That's what they were hinting at with the preview showing all of the guys look like they're leaving either in a limo or the talk with Drew. If Brooks returns then there's no cliff hanger because of course she'd take him back at that point. It's also more interesting if he comes back after she had MTP & LCD with 2 guys because then she could be invested in the other 2 and no guarantee she'll let him come back then.

This is JMHO, but to be walked out on is bad enough,thinking they don't love you, but to be walked out on on National TV is a whole nother story. I just don't think I could take Brooks back, in good faith, if I were in Des place and he left me there for 2 other men to possibly have me.. If he is willing to leave her once what's to prove that he won't leave her again for whatever reason and I like Brooks and think they make a cute couple, but I also like Drew and Chris and the way it's shown it so far is both of them are in love with Des and they didn't leave when things got tough or they couldn't decide if they loved her enough or whatever reason Brooks uses.

It would always be in the back of my mind will he leave me again if things aren't going all peachy or if things get tough or if he again starts to question his feelings for me. Maybe that's why things have never worked out for Des thus far. She doesn't know her worth and doesn't know that there are others that would stand beside her no matter what and not run at the first sign of trouble or have that much of a problem figuring out if he loves her..

I would really have a problem taking Brooks back. It will take knowing why he takes himself out of the running for me to decide if I think they will make it in RL after the show, but from what I have seen so far with the previews and things I don't give it any more of a chance than I do a snowball in h*ll.Des needs to up her standards and her willingness to always love the man more than the man does her if she ever stands a chance at a forever love and happiness.

Please don't throw tomatoes at me. As I said, this is JMHO and how I would feel about this if I were in this situation. I'm hoping Des can find what she's looking for and not come away from this heartbroken. , ; (

The gossipmags say Des is engaged and over the moon, so something got resolved at some point.
I guess we'll just have to see how it plays out!!

I've never thought that he leaves the island, but that they do have some type of misunderstanding. I just hope he doesn't hurt her. I like Des.. She isn't my fav of the "Ette's" ( or maybe it was just because of the crazy way they edited the show this season), but I do want to see her wind up happy. Was there anything new in the previews that you saw? I didn't catch anything, but I was so over watching a 2 hour show for only about 25 minutes of something I enjoyed. LOL..
