Oh, and that was cute how excited Desiree was to get into the canoe.

Remember when Chris H said in his blog that brooks was an enigma? I keep wondering why he chose to tell us that after Barcelona. Brooks hadn't said or done anything up to that point to confuse us. He was quite into the soccer date and was super thrilled he got the group date rose. So why was being called an enigma if we had no indication of it? It seems Chris was setting the stage and ever since then in every preview we get more reason to question Brooks' feelings for Des, if he's "on the right page", etc.

But week after week Brooks keeps proving he's there for Des and that this isn't just a joke for him.

He looks like he's found his love. No need to fall for the misleading previews and other machinations by tptb. Just watch and you'll see.

Brooks himself said there are a lot of weird twists coming up, according to that girl who watched the show with him. So something happens that they ALL think is weird. Everyone who knows about the ending have said the same thing, including one of the guys involved, Brooks. What the freak could be so weird?

I'm pretty sure Chris H said that after episode 6. Anyway in tonite's blog Chris H says "last week Des admitted she was falling in love with Brooks and Chris..." Well not quite. She admitted she was falling in love with Chris but she said she was already IN love with Brooks. Wording later on is suspicious where Chris H says Des doesn't want Nate to talk to the guys and Chris says that "seems to" have worked. What does "seems to" mean? Did he talk to them or not? He didn't talk to them so Chris might be setting us up for something later that will involve an encore by Nate. And we have to wonder if this might be the reason why we're getting the tears and twists down the line.

Chris H could have at least given Brooks credit in his blog this time for opening up his feelings for Des. But he didn't. Instead He decided to point out the fact which we all already know which is That the other guys said the L word and Brooks still has not.

Brooks it seems can't do anything right according to Chris H! Makes me cringe reading it thinking how far from the truth it probably really is.

One thing I've been watching for did happen tonight:  when Des and Brooks first met up and got into a clinch, she jumped up and wrapped her legs around his waist, a la Ashley.  :Smiley: 

She did?  I thought she just jumped up and hung on to him.

They've got their "story" to tell. they've flat out given us that Brooks is the one. Now with the previews they need the jolt the viewers with the idea that it is not going to work out so that they can at the end SURPRISE! it did work out. They gave us the F1 flat out yet still manged to surprise everyone at the end. Or at least in their little egotistical minds.....
