I agree with you. To a lot of people it may seem that Brooks is not into Des. But I see that he cares very much for her. You can tell by the way he looks at her when they are together or in a group. I have seen him stare at her a lot of times. Brooks is not caught up in the bach bubble. He is processing every thing at his own pace. I also think that HTD will be a big part of his puzzle.

I wonder if Brooks will MTP and be able to choose a Neil Lane ring for the proposal. I guess that is up in the air on when he returns if he leaves in the first place.

Yes, that is exactly what we are seeing when it comes to Des and people think he's not feeling anything, but he sits there and thinks. You can see the wheels turning. And he's really taking in and considering what people are saying. He really processes things. No wonder he coined the phrase, "mental process." Shows how much he thinks that he coins it that. Just more things to love about him.

I think next week will reveal a lot of answers. Or, it'll just make us more confused. I think it might reveal a lot, though.

nannymargie: I hope he gets a MTP! And gets to pick out a ring. I hope so. Or that's kind of a shabby ending for them after their journey went so well all along. Shabby ending for the fans, too, who followed their journey.

That's my question. Only thing we have is that he's at the St. James Club and the Verandah at some point.

Also think that Des probably kept Michael around that long because she saw/knew he was close with Brooks.

The other thing I like about Michael's interview is , at least Brooks presented himself honestly to Des. In other words he wasn't one way with the guys and another way with Des. So if he presented himself honestly than Des gets a better picture of who Brooks really is. Could have been a James or Ben type.

All will be revealed soon. All will be revealed soon. I keep telling myself that. I just hope, if Brooks is F1, that it's an amazing ending and that his fans aren't gypped in the lead-up. I hope he does get dates and rings and meeting people, but if not, I hope we get a lot of other good stuff to make up for it.

What I hope is that Brooks and Des get a FD because they will be able to talk without cameras and then they will know how each other feels. If TBTB don't let them get that alone time as in drama of what ever kind, Brooks is still going to be uncertain.

Last night I had some friends over that were co-workers with me at Warner Bros. They were editors and producers all retired but have over 60 years experience. I asked them to look at the sc of Brooks where you see the turquoise color in the corner. I've always thought it was material, but wanted other opinions so a single screen shot on a 70" screen for 2 hours here is what they came up with. They did not see it in motion.
1. What are they trying to hide? That camera shot is (well I won't say what they said)
2. Sun is low on that 6'4" frame must be late in the day. Determined light source natural and diffused.
3. Tears running down Brooks Cheeks.
4. Brooks hugging someone very tight. They even got into the position (very funny)
5. Turquoise is definitely material must be the girls dress. Shoulder possibly
6. They weren't sure but thought it might be tears of joy instead of sorrow as the eyes wrinkles are pointing up..
Then I played it in motion. The editor said the dissolve into the next scene was very quick to hide something else and questioned the sound being dubbed in from another time.
I don't know but its interesting to hear what they had to say.
