She wrote a journal so that they can re-live their special moments. He added to it as she read. Btw it was on a paper that she made into a rose.

His insecurity has warrant in this case. Even if Des said she's running to the finish line. How much time did Brooks have to feel that same way as compared to ther others whose strategy is to just go for it. They are still high from their first date with Des. So by the second one on one, Brooks is trying to reconnect and get his feelings aligned. Being the thinker he is, he said he cannot think about running towards the finish line until Des at least meets his family. The only thing I'm happy for is that after all that's said and done, he WILL be Des' final choice so seeing Brooks go through his process will be worth it to Bres' fans.

Good post. It makes a lot of sense where Brooks is at. I just don't get how he can't tell how she was falling for him though.

Mmm. Idaho has its good spots. The panhandle. Utah is the more spectacular. And slightly less dull. I said slightly. And slightly more dry. In a lot of ways, though, Idaho is like Utah's little sister. Nampa, near Boise. Well Boise is dullsville, so I can't imagine that's much better.

I like that it's in Utah. My home state (up to 7 months ago) gets featured again. Born and bred. And this time it'll be northern.

Proud that Brooks chooses to live there, for now. I wonder why he chooses to live there: other than it's more interesting, more spectacular, more beautiful (the panhandle in Idaho is amazing, though). :Smiley:

Oh, I know that Utah is a gorgeous state! I just would like for the show to go to other places like Idaho.

I love that he added to it. He's so proactive in their relationship. Not passive at all. Finishes her sentences even then, proving her point. Involved. Listens to her. Talks about her all the time. Knows her. "Gets" here, like she said.

I wonder if anyone still has a problem with Brooks' voice. I love his voice and the way he talks; his soft-spoken ways. I love the way he says her name. It's so beautiful.

Sorry atem, stupid work meeting! i just posted my thoughts on E article and ran!

OMG...that date was so cute. They just LOOK like they belong together. WOW. Des got it bad. She MADE an origami rose, yall!
That is HARD!

I can't wait to see what Ali says about Des making that rose plus recounting all their moments because she couldn't stop talking about how Des writing Chris the poem was a clear sign that he was F1.

It's what helps him decide if he starts running to the finish line . That's huge at that moment.
