Keeping their top-secret engagement hush-hush, Life & Style can reveal that now, more than two months after becoming engaged, Des and her winning guy are still blissfully in love. In fact, the two have been meeting in secret, spending time together in secluded locations.


“They get to see each other once a week,” an insider dishes. “Right now, Des is absolutely beside herself with happiness. She seems to have a constant smile on her face.”

I looked up Dow Hill, Antigua and it is near Shirley Heights and not in the Verandah Resort as the magazine says. Here is a video of Dow Hill.

Yes.

If you notice MOTs signature she has a nice gif in there with them kissing with that view in the background. Shirley heights.

If Dow Hill is the correct location for the FRC, Des and her fiancé will get practically the same view Des and Drew had on their date. How romantic.:Smiley:

Drew got zero mentions (not even brief ones) in her first five People magazine blogs. Also interesting.

I don't put stock on the blogs because it is so heavily edited prior to print. The only blogs that were really indicative were Brads 2.0 and that too he was basically laying on the butter for his reluctant F1 more than trying to keep a secret. After all Emily "believed" the spoiler as well  .

When so many of us pointed out that little nugget (his blogs) in a tidal wave of "Chantal is F1" posts we were laughed at and told that his wonderful chemistry with Chantal is all the proof they needed . Besides RS had confirmed spoilers for the season so why sleuth ?

Now the same tool is being used to discredit a contestant and the RS is right is still the mantra.

This is not the usual season. And I seriously doubt it is the usual outcome. We'll see - it should be interesting.

OMG, nd, I'd forgotten that Emily believed the spoiler too, and that she would have picked Chantal.

Oh and bet2win - I was :shock:  when I heard Emily say all that stuff at the ATFR. The f1 not believing that she was the F1. That was where we got the "sending truckloads of designer shoes" concept from. Brad and Emily.

This to me reminds me of Ben and Courtney. With their skinny dipping scene, there was no way Courtney could not be final 1. Unless TPTB are completely throwing Des under the bus, and backing up over her again, Brooks is F1. She can't come out and say that she loves (for a couple of weeks now) him without him being F1.

I agree that it's going to be messy, very messy for Des if Brooks is not F1... and if she chooses Chris or Drew so difficult for them, too... to watch her profess her love for another guy.  And I believe Des loves Brooks when she said it.  But if she/Brooks are not on the same page and he leaves/she lets him go... then there could be room for another man to win her heart.  I think it's going to be Drew.  As I posted in another thread, spoilers aside, these points include:

• Physical attraction
• Best hometown date EVA
• Weird hometown date with Chris’ family (not F1 edit)
• Not strong mention of Drew’s HTD when speaking with CH –when it’s obvious that it was terrific
• SCs of everyone in limo crying
• No SCs of Drew in exit limo
• Show’s edit hiding their early interaction
• Drew’s ability to say VERY clearly that he wants her in his life
• His move from AZ to CA
• No strong mention of Drew in Des’ blogs – hiding him

What are you going to do then if Brooks doesn't leave forever? Because when Brooks comes around you know what happens to Des.

Things that make Brooks the F1 candidate:

*He's the spoiled F1 many times over.
*She is smitten by him to the point that even the other guys and the crew have noticed and they decided to feature it.
*The whole show has been about Brooks and Des; things about them have carried it; themes about them; things that Brooks have said have been key.
*They edit Brooks respectfully and always pay attention to him, even when highlighting the others.
*They gave him a real storyline, from start to finish; and struggles.
*They gave him a serious conflict.
*She does find ways to shout out to Brooks, not only on screen, but in her blogs.
*She defended Brooks in an interview when they were making fun of him because of his finger; she kept defending him.
*She looked scared on Jimmy Kimmel when she saw his picture.
*She gave Drew's picture a hard look on Jimmy Kimmel.
*When talking to this other interviewer she highlighted his hair as what must be attracting the interviewer; she wouldn't let that go, like she was deflecting attention.
*Best HTD of the bunch: respectful, beautiful, revealing.
*Brooks has been silent on Twitter and only been spotted by random fans; hiding well.
