Excellent point, Martinanne. Ashley herself mentions when she talks to CH that she has a tough time explaining what she really means. You are right that this was not the case with her convo with JP. I noticed that he just looks at her patiently with that "Tell me anything" look and that must help her get the words out right.

With the backlash from Bentley turning people off (which they didn't expect) very quickly (within an episode or two), maybe they then decided they'd better give us a little more JP and a little less Ben than they had originally intended to make the final outcome more believable.

I don't know, it just seems the women they cast for the bachelor have much more dynamic and varying personalities and traits, where as the men they cast for the 'ette are all cut the same, boring, unidimensional, awkward cloth. Thoughts?
