I didn't watch til this morning. Almost expected more from the JP date, with posts that read BEST DATE EVER. It was nice.....not "best" though, LOL!
He seems like a sincere guy.

Aww Nutty! Sweet post! I'm sure it's a two way street. No way a woman doesn't fall in love with a man who looks at her and treats her the way JP does Ash. She'd have to be completely and totally mental. He makes her feel all the right things and absolutely adores her, it's so fun to watch.

Northern, I don't think Ben is anything like Wes, Jesse, etc. but I do think he's more of a frat boy/party boy than we're being led to believe on the show. There's nothing wrong with that though, he's really young and has plenty of time before he wants to get married and settled. And this made me laugh:

HAHA! I think you might be right, their dates do seem to start in the evening and go to the night.

I think I could watch a whole show of just the adventures of Ben and Dino! That would be a hoot!

To me, Ben is CL and JP is Roberto this season.jmo

Here are my comments from last night .... just wondering if anybody else thinks the same about why JP got the 1/1 last night instead of Ryan.

First of all, after watching their 1/1 there is no doubt in my mind that JP is F1 and with only a few episodes left, I just don't see that changing. Also, I believe that Ryan was supposed to get that 1/1 but she changed it up after seeing Bentley and just feeling free after he left she wanted to be able to talk to JP about it privately. I think her doing that is what caused her to give Ryan a group rose as she felt guilty.

I loved how JP stood up for her tonight and how he handled it when they questioned him about not telling them what she'd told him about Bentley. .

I find myself waiting for the next Bachelor show rather than enjoying this one. There's some great opportunities in this bunch of guys! Ames probably couldn't carry the young crowd but he's sure a great catch. Ben F, and several others seem to be the whole package.

that's right, now I remember...... so she must have wanted to rest up for the date as she knew she didn't want to end it too early... or fall asleep on him again (unless it was at 6am and the sun was coming up :halo: )

You're probably right about him being more frat boy mentality than being grouped with the nasty group of ex-bach's but I'm still getting the vibe he's not who he seems to be, especially when you consider the recent tweets. I mentioned the other day about him teasing JP about kissing Ash, when it seems unlikely that he had at that point. Not sure what it is but I'm just not warming up to the guy... kinda like how I could never warm up to Emily. no idea

I think Ben F. would be fun to watch as the Bach, and I did think that about Ames too last week. But now that I saw that elevator kiss...it creeped me out and I don't want to see Ames kissing a bunch of girls. Would not enjoy that side of him as the Bach. The conversations would be fun though.

I want to see Mickey as the next Bachelor. For a while I thought he was pretty but boring, but after last night I do think he could carry the show. I think he just didn't click that well with Ashley, but that doesn't mean he's boring.

Makes sense to me. She was so nervous and frazzled telling JP because his reaction was the only one of any consequence, plus her speech to him when she told was like "now I can give myself 100% to YOU." She didn't say this "process" or "journey," but specifically to JP.

I just thought of something else to go with that thought. Maybe the original date with Ryan was something boring in the afternoon and then a picnic dinner and that's when it was supposed to end... but maybe once she decided to go with JP, she nixed the afternoon part and added the romantic cable car ride instead. Ya never know!

I found her wording significant too. It was reminiscent of how straightforward Brad was when talking to Emily.... we thought it was too obvious but we now know it wasn't.
