I wonder how long Ashley actually spoke with Bentley; I'm sure that wasn't the whole conversation. I suspect that she went into it thinking she still had a strong MUTUAL connection with him, but after a while, by putting him on the spot for once, she was finally able to see him for the player that he was, and the illusion was completely shattered. Closure comes much easier when you realize that the person you thought you were falling for in reality doesn't exist. She left that hotel room pissed, not heartbroken.

I remember reading an article saying it was an hour, though I don't know how reliable that was, but I completely agree.

Honestly, if you (not just you Gina, but everybody) put down the 'JP is F1' goggles and watch that whole mess unfiltered, Ashley's half of the convo looked genuine. No question Bentley's part was scripted.

I guess we see it differently, Alexxxx. I saw her pause a few times and she seemed to be remembering her lines than looking intently into the bent one's face most time. But it's ok..if we agree to disagree on it. I've always felt it was way more producer enhanced than not from the beginning of it, not just tonight's show. TPTB just upped it a few notches from the Frank fiasco and stirred the pot. I think she was intially attracted to Bentley, just like Ali was to Frank, so TPTB ran with it and Ashley's own insecurities. jmo

ETA.. Ironcat...good post and observation, agree completely.

Just to change the subject somewhat, the kiss that Ames planted on Ashley made me think that the guy is a horn dog. It really looked as if he wanted to jump her bones at that point. She was shocked and so was I. It was really creepy.

Thanks... yeah he totally doesn't know I wrote that on here. He just came up from his "man cave" aka the basement and I told him that he better not judge me for watching this repeatedly.... I have him playing the Bentley drinking game so he is getting aloof. hehe

I think it was creepy because Ashley may be very physical when she wants to be but when the guy is initiating and she's not into, it's like they're all trying to hook up with their best friend's 12 year old sister and she's about to call the police.

Lol I love Ames but you could just see him "prepping" for the act. Too funny.

How do you know she wouldn't of taken him back? She told the guys she was falling for Bentley and I actually believe her. I don't know if he would of been her F1, but he probably would have made it far. Neither of us truly know!
