Des and Brooks interaction was non-existent but there were lots of reactions shots...in fact I thought too much!

So, why not just show the cocktail party part? Unless that would make it too obvious too?

You're right, totally out of nowhere. It's like she needed to shout out to Brooks and the viewers since neither alone time clip was on the show last night.
