From what Desiree makes it seem, he's supportive. So, when he meets the Final 4 guys, I don't think there will be a problem

I think when Chris realizes towards the end that Brooks is still there, deep in his heart he might know the odds aren't in his favor no matter what he feels for Des. On another note what I like about Brooks is he doesn't strive to always be front and center when he's in the group. He's always towards the back of the room whereas he could have shown some of the guys up trying to be around Des which we know she enjoys.

I wondered if anybody else noticed this. LOL.. If they haven't they need to watch again and then to be sure to notice it in future episodes. Just about any time they show the whole group of guys I've noticed him standing in the background. That's not counting the RC's because he's told where to stand then. He sure doesn't come off as one of those "Watch me" "Watch me" "Look at me" "Look at me" type of guys that are always front and center...

I even noticed that Brooks has missed a few toasts because he's not crowding Des. He could easily flaunt as Ben does but he seems respectful.

I don't think Brooks has it in him to be like Ben is. LOL I too think he's too respectful and that amazes me because coming from a family where he has 8 siblings you would auto think he's the type to try to get to the front of the line (so to say), but he doesn't come off that way at all. I like that about him. Also, I kind of think he's secure in what he has with Des enough that he knows even if he isn't front and center that Des still knows where he's at at all times.

Hi Atem! Thanks for being such a helpful buddy during my unspoiled days. Glad to learn that we are actually on same team. You must have cracked up when I pegged Brooks as leaving before HTD's. Oh well ... I had my heart set on Zack (to no avail) and now I am glad that Brooks charm, wit & personality (and Chris!) won me over these past four episodes. It's a win-win season for me. Can't wait to get to know Drew now.

I still wonder why there was not enough interest from Des for Zack for her to keep home over somebody like Mikey.?? I found Zack to be very good looking, altho I still think his neck could be a little longer, ( but we could all find something wrong with all of them ) LOL I was all set not to like him from watching a vid of him on YouTube, but strangely the little I got to see of him I liked him and would have liked to seen him stick around over quite a few of the others so I could have gotten more a of a sense of who he is. KWIM?. : (

Does anybody know anything about the reason she let him go so early ahead of the others, other than the obvious? She really seemed so apologetic to him when letting him go. Much more so than we've seen a lot if the others be. IMHO

Ha! You are asking same questions about Zack that I asked on non spoiler threads. Seems this season's guys can be clearly divided into guys Des' likes and guys that TPTB likes to fill Bachelor Pad next summer (Fleiss is quoted as saying he plans to air summer 2014 when he has more "superstars") ... or to slide into Bachelor spot.

Clearly Chris and Brooks are two guys she likes best while guys like Mikey & Zak (sorry, but not my favorite ... seems to be trying too hard and TPTB are pushing him too hard on us) seem to be heading straight for BachPad next summer.

Des seemed to have chemistry with Zack but they showed us nothing (!) I think it was our edit expert, JBF, who suggested that TPTB did not want to show us Zack & her connections so fans would not be miffed at Des for letting him go & keeping the meathead Mikey or Kasey who seems firmly in her friend zone but is a fun loving character (and great for BachPad).

Back to our boy Brooks ... I had written Brooks off as a Bachelor candidate because 1) so much footage of him in previews and 2) dreaded first date. I thought he'd go to 4 or possibly 5 (a la Jake P). But then I got to "know" him and my thoughts changed. The guy that I initially thought was "nerdy" in the ABC bio pic is actually really cool & sexy & outdoorsy adventurer! When TPTB "hid" his time with Des last episode but then Des gave a shout out to their steamy make-out made me realize that he's going far ... and most likely F1

It really peaked my interest when she sent Zack home while keeping a meat-head like Mikey. I was thinking WTH is going on? LOL I was looking forward to knowing more about Zack and I think they could have had really hot looking make out sessions. : ) IMO I do think she hated having to send him home, by the way she acted while doing so.

It seems the experts hit the nail on the head and I always have to tip my hat to JBF.. They know this show inside and out.. I love reading their post. Altho embarrassingly, I do have to admit I still don't know if they are male or female. LOL


Maybe you've shown me why I'm not a fan of Zak's, yet I have to admit he'd be PERFECT for Bach Pad. : ).... Maybe it is because he's trying too hard.. While watching most shows, I feel like I wish he'd just sit down somewhere. Same goes for Ben. LOL Those 2 are big turnoffs for me this season, same goes for Mikey.


I'll admit I loved how Des gave a shout out to Brooks in her blog and I'm so glad she did.. Take that TPTB. : ) Just from looking at Brooks' ABC pic I wasn't that much of a fan of his.. I know, looks aren't everything, but then on their 1 on 1 he completely stole my heart. How sweet of a guy he is. So caring and all. Even if he isn't boyfriend material to Des, I think he would make a terrific friend. I think he's the type of guy that when you're talking to him, you know he's listening and not just acting like he is. Sometimes that's rare to find. As of right now, I'm totally crushing on Brooks for Des. LOLOL.

IMO The difference would be that she's the lead this season and is doing he choosing so if she picks wrong and gets her heart broken, well that's on her, where as last season it was up to the guy to pick her or leave her possibly heartbroken.. Does that make better sense? ; ) I totally agree about hoping he's learned some empathy or that he's learned to keep it in his pocket and not be so vocal about it.

Brooks is a very good-looking guy (not from ABC Bio Pic), but from other pictures like the outdoorsman, model shots, and candid pictures. But, I didn't expect to really like his personality as much as I do. He's an attentive listener, but very sweet, genuine, vivacious, articulate, funny, and outgoing. Honestly, I'd want a guy like Brooks for myself. Des did good choosing him! I really like all the F4. Look forward to seeing the fabulous HTDs. About the Nate thing, everyone was calling him a hypocrite afterwards when Des became the bachelorette. I knew I saw tweets inquiring if he would call his sister a playgirl/whore for doing the show. Tskk tskk. Well, hope he plays nice this time.
