I think when Chris realizes towards the end that Brooks is still there, deep in his heart he might know the odds aren't in his favor no matter what he feels for Des. On another note what I like about Brooks is he doesn't strive to always be front and center when he's in the group. He's always towards the back of the room whereas he could have shown some of the guys up trying to be around Des which we know she enjoys.

I notice that, too. He lets others have their turns.

It's really about chemistry, most of us here probably chose our SO based on chemistry and how s/he made us feel. If we posted photos of our SOs there might be a lot of tongue biting to avoid hurt feelings. I think my boyfriend is gorgeous but he'd scare some people here. :) He's also a big sensitive sweetheart who goes out of his way to make me feel special (unlike my last boyfriend, what a mess).

I think most of us outgrow the mentality that cuter is better in high school, but this show can make adult women revert to that idea when judging the men. I see comments on Facebook that say things like "Why did she choose him, X is so much hotter! She's so dumb!" and I think really? That's the main thing that matters to you? Good luck with that! haha

It makes sense to me why Brooks and Chris are the final two men and I'd be happy if she chose either one. Who knows how long it will last but she's choosing for herself, not me.

Bravo! People used to roll their eyes at my SO because when he's nervous he tell dry jokes or use to. But now that we're in a solid relationship he's so supportive and relaxed. He's not a macho man but is brainy and knows how to make money. Some were shocked that I went for him but no regrets. It's all about if you get one another. Seems both Brooks and Des feel that they do. Albeit I like the more serious side of Brooks it's good that Des gets his silly side.

Barb, all that matters is that YOU love him, he loves YOU and he is good to YOU.. It don't matter what anyone else thinks!! Glad you are happy. : )

Thanks for that. No regrets from for me. But I do love someone whose multifaceted in personality. Nothing wrong with silliness either. Laughter is a good thing for love.

They have to show them together next week right? We know they have one on one time...I really hope they show it!

This show?  Are you kidding?  I bet the show will be focusing on Drew and Des on that date.  Plus, they don't have a cocktail party.  So, that's that.

He is F1, they still have to show him, so being that they didn't show any 1-1 time with them this week, I'd think we see it next week even if only briefly.

And just because there is drama that has to be shown does not mean that they can't show a little of other stuff.

San, do you know when the drama will be over? Is it when she's down to her F- 6 guys or later than that? I don't really care for the drama and seems like we've got a boatload of it yet to come. : ( Thanks.!!!

I might be wrong in this, and I am not San, but I am pretty sure the drama dies down once James leaves (thank god & no offense) which is in Spain, Portugal. If the Brooks and James "battle" happens this week, expect more some random "battle" between Kasey and James in 2 weeks time.

I wondered if anybody else noticed this. LOL.. If they haven't they need to watch again and then to be sure to notice it in future episodes. Just about any time they show the whole group of guys I've noticed him standing in the background. That's not counting the RC's because he's told where to stand then. He sure doesn't come off as one of those "Watch me" "Watch me" "Look at me" "Look at me" type of guys that are always front and center...

You're welcome and I think a relationship without laughter would truly be a boring one. : ) I'd rather have a man that could make me laugh any day of the week than a man, regardless of how handsome he is, that couldn't make me laugh ; )

I've never understood why Kasey gets into the drama other than maybe thinking he's protecting Des. I'm not a fan of James either. Not at all. LOL.

Hard to say because if he pegged Sean as a "player" what was it? Des keeps saying that comment was "Sean specific" . Was it because Sean is buff and seems to spend a lot of time on his bod? If so he might like the leaner men. All F4's are not conceited types in fact they are so very amiable so would that soften Nate? He's a wild card for sure and just not sure why he'll meet the F4 anyway.

I even noticed that Brooks has missed a few toasts because he's not crowding Des. He could easily flaunt as Ben does but he seems respectful.

I'm a little late and just watched the latest episode. I admit to not liking Brooks initially and am embarrased to say that I thought he was "gross and slimy" at first glance.

Now that I have watched the first four episodes I have completely changed my mind about him. He is the funniest and cutest thing. I was cracking up when he posed for the competittion and then said "nailed it!".  Then at the very beginning of the after party, he held the door for the guys but playfully pushed the last guy (might have been Chris?) away so that he couldn't get in. I love love love the way he looks at Des and the way he listens to her. I love that he wants to know more about her and that he doesn't take himself too seriously. I mean, he looked horrible after being in the hospital but he still wanted to see her.

Totally changed my mind!!

Nice post.  I love all those things too.  The door thing was so cute (I think it was Chris too).  

It was definitely Chris he was picking with on the way in the door.
They seem to have a great friendship, Bromace persae' :yes:Which is fun to see.

YES. I agree. There were a lot of moments in the last episode with brooks and chris sitting/standing next to each other.

Hopefully we will see more of brooks next week.

I've noticed the Brooks/Chris friendship on several occasions during this show. What shall we call them Bris? Crooks? I remember while the dodgeball pros were pelting the hunks during practice, Brooks got nailed with one and Chris wrapped him up into a hug, both laughing. Then in the Mr. America pagaent Chris said he thought Brooks would do great after his great song (he said it in a serious tone too haha). It has to be awkward to make a great friendship yet both be fighting for the same girl and swapping spit with her and thus indirectly each other but so far they are coping well with it. Down the road towards F2, who knows but for now all seems well.

Crooks is really cute like who really stole Des's heart. For Des and Brooks I've been saying BroDe but that sounds like Ben's son so I nixed that.
