Upon a second viewing of Brooks one on one date (have to admit that I did not pay close attention first go-round), I can see how genuinely happy and comfortable they are together. They have great chemistry/eye contact and had so much fun dancing together. They both opened up to each other and it did not seem forced whatsoever. Now that I have seen her interact with other guys, it's pretty obvious just how much she liked him early on.

So ... I am late to your party (and guess that I am still on Team ChrisBrooks as I can't let go of my first love ). But, here's to a great season ... and a Bachelor/Bachelorette first: the contestant who gets first date goes to F1. Cool beans!

I love how you approached getting to know Brooks better, but am sorry you were spoiled in the process. I also like your observations of the relationship that Des and Brooks developed from the start. I liked hi from the ABC bio pic, and was spoiled before the show started, so I already looked at their interaction through different eyes. I am so pleased that my first impression of him was not wrong, and I love him more and more every episode. I also really like Chris, actually her entire F4, but the friendship Brooks and Chris have with each other is great to watch. Glad to have another Team BrooksChris giggling

It makes sense to me why Brooks and Chris are the final two men and I'd be happy if she chose either one. Who knows how long it will last but she's choosing for herself, not me.

Bravo! People used to roll their eyes at my SO because when he's nervous he tell dry jokes or use to. But now that we're in a solid relationship he's so supportive and relaxed. He's not a macho man but is brainy and knows how to make money. Some were shocked that I went for him but no regrets. It's all about if you get one another. Seems both Brooks and Des feel that they do. Albeit I like the more serious side of Brooks it's good that Des gets his silly side.

Did you guys see all the pics from the next episode that Love_me posted? Brooks looks so silly in that cap! It's all goofy looking! rofl

I also recommend getting to know the guys by going to sophienette's site! Otherwise, you wouldn't have known that Brooks has 9 siblings!

How and why? I don't know how he meets them. Probably when they come back for the Rose Ceremony in L.A.

Why? To cause fake drama, that's what the show always does! He's at the MTP too.

Great post! So long as they are happy, and I really hope they are, that's all that matters. It's fun for me because in her shoes, I would have made the same choice.

Sounds like you have the man of your dreams! That's all that really matters. I hope Des and Brooks don't pay too much attention to the ugly things people say.

At some point, they won't be able to. Just hope we don't have to wait until the FRC.

I'm curious whom Des met in Brooks' family. That's a lot of names to remember if she meets all 9 of his siblings and if they have children. Hope they wear name cards ;)
