yeah maybe, I mean they did look pretty uh happy when they came back from whatever convo they had at the cocktail party. I wish they would have shown some of it.

they are going to have to show more sooner than later. They are obviously trying to build Des/Chris up for the final showdown in these recent eps and probably next one since he has one/one but they will risk overdoing it to where everyone thinks it will be Chris if they keep hiding Des/Brooks. I believe it will balance out again though I admittedly am very impatient waiting for that haha. A few deleted scenes would be nice.

Whoa!

The group has a blast as they sled down a black diamond ski slope. What awaits them is a spectacular igloo hotel totally carved out of snow and ice. As Zak and Drew profess their love for Desiree, James and Brooks go all out in a ferocious battle

Hmmmm can't decide if it is related to skiing or something else. Based on previews though, I'd say something else haha.

I don't see the negative edit towards Brooks. Then again I only watched the show once, so if anyone would enlighten me with specifics, I would consider watching the episode again.
It must be difficult to edit both Des and Brooks, because there was a certain chemistry between them in the beginning stages of the show. As time goes on, that chemistry is increasing perhaps faster than she shares with others. I suppose if they did show all their interactions, even at this point, it would be very noticeable.

Also, in reference to her mention of him in her blog this week....totally a shout-out. If they weren't still together, why bother???

Yeah I thought about that too. What is the point of bringing up an encounter with someone that wasn't even made visible to the viewers on the show unless that moment still carries significance for you? Perhaps she is planning for her next 'secret getaway' with uh someone special? Perhaps someone special hacked her people blog while with her and added in a little "shout out." (my imagination haha)

In the caps at the Rose Ceremony, we know that James nor Drew get the group date rose and we know Mikey T is cut.  So that leaves Brooks, Juan Pablo and Zak W, right?

Really? I had a gut feeling it's gonna be him after he reveals his feelings to him....
Zak got the group date rose this week therefore it should be is a no-go for him, but who knows...
Brooks clashes with James throughout the whole date, while the other guys talk to Des(press release) - but who knows maybe he impressed her by winning the "sledding"(can you win sledding?;) .... and JuanPa get's cut next week, but who knows...

And what about Kasey? Wasn't he on the GD? Not that I believe, that he would get a GD rose(it's painfully obvious that she isn't into him:(

No he didn't, he won the competition, but Des still gave the rose to Zak. That made it crystal clear, to me at least, that she isn't remotely into him... But yeah it's off topic..
