It may be true, but that's just his opinion. I don't see how he could really know that for sure. It's not like he was there very long. In an interview, Jeff said only 3-4 guys were into her, but William disagreed with Jeff's opinion on that in his interview. I don't think any of these guys really know who or how many of the guys were really into her. Maybe none or only a few were into her early on and guys that weren't into her developed feelings later on.

That's a fair point - Stephen could only speculate based on the first 2 weeks... based on what he heard around the house and not actual fact as he can't really know what people were feeling 100% or if they're just 'talking' (as I'm not an expert on guy talk lol)

But he wouldn't know. He wasn't there.
He was there for 2 weeks wasn't he? scratch

He was eliminated in episode 2, so I'm guessing that would've been about 5 days or 6 days? I'm basing this on the fact that Jesse K. said on the "Bachelorette Beatdown" that there was a rose ceremony every 4 days. I'm not exactly sure how long 2 episodes would span, with episode 1 lasting from night to early morning.

ahh interesting -- I do think though first impressions are a big factor in figuring out if you're attracted to someone from the get go....I doubt real attraction would change after those initial impressions? :greenman: Either way I am just not surprised so few people would be into the lead -- I go months sometimes without finding ONE person I find an attraction and also a personality chemistry with and typically I can feel it within the first few hours if the connection would be there or not... Is it different for others? Maybe this approach is an obstacle in my dating life laugh out loud In any case I just don't see this as a negative reflection on anyone -- just the reality of real chemistry/attraction

I think attraction can grow as one gets to know a person. Glad I didn't go with my first reaction to my husband cause he never would've become my husband giggling

I agree. With some people attraction is immediate, with others it's something that develops with time and common interests etc. Waiting for bells and whistles to go off in the first few hours is probably what keeps people single longer than the want. And why so many relationships don't work on the Bach giggling The first night the lead pretty much chooses their F1 on the basis of "he/she's hot". Just think, if Bentley wanted to take his using the show further, he would be Ashleys F1..... now how gross would that be? I'd say that pairing would have topped Jilly Bean picking Ed :puke:

I think that you are right, emusha. It could be why we have the Bentley show. hmmm

He was on the losing team (The Best Men) on the Jabbawockeez group date, so he probably only talked to Ashley twice at most the whole time he was there. I don't see how he could really know that none of the guys were into her in the short time he was there, or that everyone loved Bentley. It just sounds like bitterness.

well, he's not the only one who has said this -The Mask said that there were only a few (3-4) guys that were actually interested in her. Men are visual creatures - they know almost immediately if they're attracted to a woman (and a lot of women know within a very short period of time if they're attracted to someone). Even if this guy was only there a week, by then they were already talking about whether or not Ashley floated their boat. Tweets/Facebook Updates - Discussion - Thread #3 - Page 52 40742102

hahaha hehehe ...k I'm gonna take your point and apply it - I'm one of those that want something to create 'interest' for me about a person (doesn't have to be looks in the least bit) in the first few hours to want to pursue something with them...

Assuming that Ashley went on this show to truly find her soulmate, she is in the best senario to find who is really there for her. Yep, she has gone through hell with the 'rejection' issues, but those remaining are there for the right reasons. Let's face it, the whole premise of this show is a fantasy land. You have 1 lead and surely not "all" of the competitors are suited to that one lead. It always amazes me that more do not book because they don't "suit". Ahhh, the adventure...keeps them there to be sure.

I would absolutely love to see this on TV.....Jane (Doe) will you accept this rose?.....Ya know, I don't think we really suit or see a future for us, nope can't accept your rose but thanks for a great time! :giggle:

I think we ultimately all do emusha, but if it's not working for you... time to think outside the box :winkie:

This does come up from time to time, and it depends on which season it is as well as the lead and the contestant that wants to leave. If the contestant that wants to leave has the name Tessa, Graham, Ed, or Frank, we did NOT hear something like this from Chris Harrison, "Gentlemen/Ladies, if SoandSo is not someone that you can see yourself marrying, please feel free to decline the rose."
That is because the producers knew those people wanted to leave, and they weren't giving them the chance to leave before or if the could stop them, or until the producers could work it into the storyline the way they wanted it done.
If the person wanting to leave isn't important to the lead, then we hear Chris Harrison make that statement, and sometimes people do leave.
