Notwithstanding the fact that Joe (was that his name?) has very short hair in that picture we've seen, I don't think the two guys look the least bit alike. Facially, there's really no resemblance at all.

I think you're the first person I've seen say that, besides me. They're both good looking guys but I'd never mistake them for brothers, not even cousins.

So we've seen one picture of an old boyfriend with short hair (taken at an unknown time), and that precludes Ashley liking guys with long hair? I don't get it. I"m just going by what Ashley herself said at the M&G and she specifically commented on liking 2 guys with longish curly hair. I'd say that was significant. I know I personally find long hair a turn off, so I think that if Ashley didn't like it, she'd just have made no comment at all. Also, she actually kept all the long hair guys, something I noticed the first night as those would have been the guys I would have let go as I found them all the least attractive out of the group (and I'm not just talking hair, face too) :awesome:

NV appears to be the trend right now, my eldest son has decided he wants to grow his hair out, it's about at collar length right now, he used to be a JP and have a shaved head, nothing wrong with it as long as it's kept clean and somewhat neat, not my cup of tea, I prefer men with short clean cut hair cuts, but my DH spent 22 years in the Air Force so I guess I'm used to that.

As far as Ashley goes, I think she's keeping an open mind about her "journey" and has picked guys with varying looks, JP with his shaved head just happens to stand out because of it.

You're probably right about the long hair being a trend, hence MF calling them all Josh Grobin look alikes :giggle: Like you, it's not my cup of tea either, but apparently, Ashley likes it. **blech**

I definitely think Ashley had a type when this all started- tall, broad-shouldered, long hair, let's be legit, Bentley. Luckily, she was open-minded and got to know them as people and now her type changed. Love is cruel! LOL.

:giggle: I was just thinking when she signed up for Brad's season, I wonder if she was hoping for Chris L? Is he more like a Ben F or a JP?

Precisely. I think you guys are right that Bentley was exactly her physical type, which is one of the main reasons she zeroed in on him from the outset. If JP had been her physical type, she may not have been so fixated on the Bent One and things may have gone much differently. But the important thing is that she allowed herself to be receptive to the guys who maybe weren't her physical ideal, and she wound up with a totally kick-ass fiance at the end. WTG Ashley!
