They did embarrass her on TV; they did promise her the world (next Bachelorette), but by then she would have nothing to do with them. Now how much the producers had to do with helping her get the spot to fill in for the contestant who broke her foot on DWTS, I don't know, but I suspect they trasnsitioned that.
Melissa told her Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader friends that she had been told that she and Jason were going to discuss their problems on the set. She did not know Molly was going to be there. She didn't know anything about Molly, or that Jason had been considering Molly. I had to wonder if suggesting Melissa to the the DWTS producers who needed someone on the spot who had some kind of ability to learn a routine in a few days while others had had weeks was their way of helping both the DWTS people and make up some of it to Melissa at the same time for the horrible embarrassment they had put her through with Molly when they could have broken up at the end of the season at the ATFR like other couples before them had done.
