Great post, cfck2222 Like you, JP's my fave and I have a horrible track record - my fave is rarely F1. It will be interesting to see if the current JP love, amongst the spoiled and unspoiled, is inflated because he has been the romantic saving grace in the midst of the Bentley debacle with no consistent romantic competition other than a memory. Will that sentiment and popularity change if another serious competitor for Ashley surfaces in the next 4 weeks?

JMO, but if he isn't F1, it will have been another strategic error in their editing to not have at least suggested or showcased an alternative F1 before now. I have a hard time believing that they'd make such another big mistake in reading their audience. If so, poor Ashley, as public sentiment might continue to be unkind.

I can't blame Ben, as a start up businessman, for using any media tools, especially Twitter, to promote his business while he has some free press and notoriety.

for me my heart usually breaks for whoever I like if he is F2 first night but by the end of the week, I'll be over it and looking forward to the next season's show but then again I'm always telling myself I shouldn't be watching every season and yet I still get suckered in thou as each seasons pass, I get less and less involved unless I think there's a really good chance of the couple working out..

Funny thing is, I don't know why I even care if my favorites don't "win". For example, look at Reid, Kiptyn, Chris L, Melissa.....they are all so happy right now, much better off than if they were the winners!!

I've watched all but Bob's season and have been right about Byron's and Ali's (or shall I say my favorite). I usually end of liking the F3's and a couple of F2's. I like both spoiled F1 and F2, but Ben is just too cute to not root for him to win Ashley's heart!

JP is the guy this season who charms me the most. Usually that guarantees he won't be F1 :giggle: I really like a bunch of the guys this season though especially Ames and Ben F.

So I wasn't phased when RS came out with his JP=F1 spoiler. I expected it because I expected him to be fed the wrong info.

I have no idea what to do with Fijiman's info.

The edit seems to favor JP as the obvious F1 but the thing about the edit is it can change and I've really been waiting for the new arc that starts in the post Bent era and also what starts happening with the HTDs. I see the logic in what some have contended about this season's true story being Ashley overcoming Bent, fixing her picker, and picking a winner in the hero JP. It's a totally logical theory. But I'm still waiting for other possible hero storylines because you just don't know when we might get one.

The one thing that's kind of made me sit up and think "Hmmmmm...." is Ben F's twitter activity and Jesse K's B/ette Beatdown comments. It really gives the feeling Ben F's over this season Chris L-style and he's enjoying the recognition/positive edit/new friends from the B/ette network.

BUT. It could be a ruse and maybe everybody involved is just having some fun with the whole thing. I kind of don't think so right now but I admit it's a possibility.

When you look at the exit interview comments by West and Will too, they point at JP as the obvious F1.

So what I'm left with is either there's a preponderance of clues that JP's F1 or TPTB have directed a whole lot of people to lay on the JP love thick as part of a big ruse. We know they're capable of a big ruse. They're also capable of underestimating Bent-based backlash against Ashley and scrambling to sell a love story to save the season.

We'll get more clues. But it won't be until ATFR IMO that we'll know what we should've believed.

secondly... one thing we all have to keep in mind, unfortunately... is the Bentley factor in this edit. Bentley changes up the storyline this season. It's not about will Ashley choose F1 or F2.... it's about will Ashley recover from Bentley leaving and choose somebody... or will she pull a Womack or maybe even a Mesnick :giggle: plus not only do we have the return of Bentley, we also are privileged to have Ryan Part Deux ...... so we have to dig a little deeper to try to figure this one out. So JP may be the obvious F1 to us, but what's the average viewer thinking? that's all that matters to MF. Oh, he cares about us sleuthers knowing spoilers, but the edit is directed to the unspoiled audience, not us.

^ @NV and I agree. Plus if one of the guys that MF knows we are rooting for isn't in the F1 position & he didn't care about us sleuthers who are also fans, they would not be trying so hard via twitter to convince us that we should stay in the season when so far it appears to have been a bust according to the unspoiled viewers and when they realise they've let the bentley drama drag on way to long for it to hold our interest to want to stick it out to the end.

For me a lot of things says JP is not final 1, I wont give out all but lets just say the way Ashley acted after JP sleep over and at the next RC crying over bentley tells me he dont win. Funny the premise for over the seas date she said it is a new beginning and at the orphanage date JP did something that help turn the tide away from him and I dont think she is looking back I would be shock if she choose him. The words I see she said that comes out of her mouth to BEN face and shown on camera tells me he wins.

As for me, I am positively,absolutely certain that JP won Ashley's heart and it was not even close with the other bachelors.He was the runaway winner , no doubt about it:-)
