Drew posted this picture, he must have written something about his dad, because people were posting they were sorry for his loss. Then he wrote this:

I think he's still got cancer. I realized I was still following his dad on Facebook from when Drew was on the show so I checked it and Mal posted a response to someone's tweet an hour ago.

When it comes to the Bachelor franchise, Drew remains the one and only person I can honestly say I wish I knew in real life and greatly admire. I believe in miracles, so I am praying for healing for Mal and comfort and strength for the Kenneys.

Dad would say, "He doesn't have a soul. He is a soul, and he has a body." If that's true, and I believe that it is, I know he's still with us, but he lives in our hearts and he will speak to us if we listen. He wouldn't want us to be sad, because after all, he was "happy, joyous, and free" until the very end of his "earthly existence." A better father for the four of us wouldn't have been possible, but the dedication and love he gave to his family was the same dedication and love he gave to all the people in his life. Because of my dad, we are all witness to how wonderful God's grace is, and God knew exactly what he was doing when he created Malachi Patrick Kenney III. I love you so much, Dad, and "I miss you" doesn't come close, but I will spend my life continuing to search for your light and guidance, and hopefully I can become half the man you were.
