You did so great unspoiled too. Now you can understand why we over on the spoiled side were so no idea

You ask a lot of great questions. Drew IMO is the biggest ? of the entire cast. So far the other have been sorta pigeon holed into their future roles but not Drew.

So any sleuthing you can come up with prior to us actually seeing it on screen would be a +.

ny as to the reason he got a late 1on1 date - possibility (IF he turns out to be F1 laugh out loud

) would be because they were waiting for their birthdays for this. JMO.

My take (and obviously only an opinion) on the hiding of Drew is that too many viewers immediately likened him to Jake Pavelka, and TPTB know that the similarity is toxic to commanding a large viewership. The first night, I saw the likeness even before the twitter feed on the screen had it. Since then, Drew's intelligence has excited me (esp. this past week), and if they can show that he is definitely NOT Jake, perhaps they will bring him out of the shadows.

I doubt they'd worry about any comparison to Jake for 2 reasons: 1. Other than a small resemblance (in my eyes), he's not coming across anything like Jake 2. Jake's season had high ratings for some strange reason.

I don't believe Drew's the f1 however a late date isn't necessarily a clue nor is being almost non-existent on camera early on after last season. All I know is that I want more Drew ASAP. :Nod:

Jake may have had high ratings, but that was before all of the Vienna garbage and also after he was inept on DWTS.

Atem -- just read the bottom of your post -- MY computer won't allow me to respond to PMs either. Makes my computer completely freeze up. I wonder if it is the private messaging part of the website???

Agreed! I don't pretend to know a fraction of you great sleuthers on here, but I really don't get not featuring him given how far he goes. He's a great looking guy and what little we've gotten, sensitive and intelligent. I don't have a fav this season, I like Brooks and Chris, but sometimes I think it would be fun to have a Drew surprise!

There was some update done and it's happened ever since. I have to use my home computer to PM...thankfully, it works here.

He is extremely intelligent more than most of the contestants that have ever stepped out of the limo. Except for his bio pic I don't see Jake in him. Either way, he is his own person and if he is offered and chooses to accept he will have a lot of support.

I just get a good vibe from him post-show that he is content with what happened. So if he is asked to be a future lead and accepts I won't be weird ed out like I am when they seem all broken hearted one day and happy to be the lead the next. JMO.

In the meantime I hope along with most that the editors give us some more lovely screen time with his adorable self.

Oh yes! I really don't think Drew is anything like Jake at all or looks anything like him. Since Jake's 1st date with Jillian and all through his DWTS stint, I thought of him as a bad actor (who can't even stay in his "good guy" character)!

With Catherine getting her 1-on-1 date on ep 6, I guess anything is possible for Drew. Seems at least half of the early dates are to weed out guys. We really have no clue who might be getting extra alone time during dates/group outings or even off camera.

I just checked out Jillian's season on Wikipedia. I remember Reid so vividly since he was my favorite but according to the episode breakdown ...

Ep 1 - came in w/ her "extra 5" guys, given 9th rose (Ed got 8th rose)
Ep 2 - no date
Ep 3, 4, 5 - group dates
Ep 6 - one on one date

Maybe the plan is to feature Drew more in ep 5 and then loads of screen time ep 6-9 (and possibly 10 giggling

) ??
