Oh definitely! Throw in the fact that Kari's from Austin and Angela went to college at UT Austin PLUS while Kari went to school out of state, she and Angela are in the same sorority.

Messy, messy ... 15 minutes!! Pretty sure Tanner tweeted something about being together & celebrating 3 years. Now that's a long history. I really, really think that Kari ONLY went on as a story line (that Ben begged for to make his segment more interesting). Kari then gets the fan backlash and starts going public about it ... but I highly doubt to win Ben back. Shoot, they could have gotten back together right in Texas as Tiger noted.

As for Angela ... well last Sunday (before finale aired) Angela called into AfterBuzz and essentially asked to be invited back this week (June 9th show). Back then I was believing the Angela & Ben "love" story and I had thought ... oh, she and Ben MUST still be together if she wants to come back post finale. Well, apparently she is instead wanting to keep up the attention by doing interviews left/right to promote her Virgin book/jewelry. Uh, no thanks.

Honestly I think they all deserve one another.

Kimberly Lisack seems to be quite the advocate for Kari. She called during the show.

MM Tracy seems to have very little information. What do you guys think?

They are all from the Texas reality show cesspool. Incestuous. I see that Kari and Angela have tweeted support for one Ben Scott on the bachelorette. I am not sure what's going on, on that show. I haven't watched the bachelor/bachelorette since Travis and Moana which they filmed in Paris.

Just watched the afterbuzz. Very interesting that the MM knows so little about the breakup, since they all became such "close friends"! Did Angela phone in at all after the final episode? And for all you non Texans, please know we are not all like these people!! It is a little alarming so many are from here!!!!

MM Tracy tweeted last Tuesday (after the finale) that there are good reasons for both break ups (Ben's and Ernesto's) but she didn't elaborate. Now she has no information about anything that occurred on the show or the "justified" break ups. I don't know if Angela called the show.

Of course there are a lot of decent and lovely Texans. These people from the reality show cesspool are a very tiny subset of the population.

There is an avid tweeter (I'm guessing another Texan) with the name Jade_Mallory3 who seems to have it in for Ben. She insults him constantly on twitter calling him a liar. She claims Kari was a plant to give Ben a story line on the show. She also claims Ben is dating one Courtney Kerr (who is she?) and might appear on a Bravo show called CLD as Courtney Kerr's love interest. I will take it all with a grain of salt as she sounds obsessed and a little off.

I'm beginning to think that, except for Tim and Jenna, all these folks need to fold their tents and go back to their previous lives. JMHO

alondon- I have seen her tweets!!! Very odd & comments that person makes! Courtney Kerr was on most eligible Dallas. Her new show is going to be on Bravo I believe, it is called Courtney Loves Dallas. She is a fashion blogger/Dallas socialite. I can say she and Ben appear to be very close! I really think he should date her!! Sometimes the best relationships start as best friends! He is so into the "friend zone" thing, not sure if he would do that! I thought she might have been the surprise ending Kari has spoke of! But I was wrong

I agree with everyone who thought Ben was way too into Kari and the other girls never stood a chance. I actually didn't mind Kari and hoped she'd fix things with Ben b/c the only time he really smiled and seemed comfortable was around her.

That said, Tanner wasn't the boyfriend Kari originally left Ben before he went to Dubai. She started seeing him after Ben and then he was her maybe boyfriend while she went on the show. I think we figured that out during the first thread of Ben's if anyone cares to look. :Smiley:

Also - I could see Ben going on another show and living out his 'fame' for as long as he can. He was asked to do the Bachelor before leaving for Dubai and I'm going to guess it was for the slot that Brad took. If you think about it, they have the same storyline-- very close with siblings, raised by single mom after dad left, self-made men who have problems with relationships. Just interchange Austin for Dallas. I wonder if Ben ever second-guesses the fact that he didn't go on TB and is using RFL to launch another chance at being on any TV show...

I go back & forth on if Ben is in it for the fame or not. I will say, he to my knowledge has not done any interviews about the break up. Angela is everywhere doing them! I myself know I couldn't fall in love on reality TV, but maybe some think they can. I think often times these people have issues that lead to failure in relationships! I do agree for the most part that they are doing this for fame. It still shocks me how many are from TX & how as things come out, they really seem to all know each other very well! What cracks me up too are the women posting on his twitter they want to meet him, etc!!! To me, the 15 min of fame is not worth all that kind of craziness!!!
