l went to wetpaint and no virus here.  So heres a drscription of the 2 rings...
1)  Desiree’s first suitor offers her a ring that says, “This is forever.” The main stone is round — a symbol for eternity — and weighs in at four carats (!) with a classic pave band. Its net worth? A cool $65,000.
2)  The other sparkler she’s presented with is a ring — and stone — meant to wow. This square cut diamond center stone weighs in at 4.5 carats and, like the first, is set in platinum. Total cost: around 95 grand!

Wow a 95,000 dollar ring..I believe that is a record..

I do like the emerald cut..But never in my years would Inhave a 4.5 carat ring..

I love the emerald cuts. I'm not around diamond girl no matter the meaning of it. If it has to be 4.5 carats then so be it. I'll make due. Sorry it would have to  cost 95k's but it is what it is. On another board we used to call Neil Lane's rings given out at the Finale, boomer-rings. It always seems to find their way back to Neil. Hope this one sticks because if you like then you better put a ring on it. :)

Interesting that Zak bought a ring already in Atlantic City. I wonder if he ever has a chance to even tell her about it.

des has nice taste. i find these rings to be much more attractive than what they usually present for the bettes.

It's interesting that they went back to Neil Lane..they didn't use him last season...

I had a feeling the ratings wouldn't be good on Monday. The Voice had its season finale that night. What I am really curious to see is how the ratings will do this coming week when The Voice isn't on anymore. Because I am a fan of the show my hope is that the ratings improve. Otherwise, I fear it will meet the fate of many of my other beloved reality shows that are no longer on the air now. Due in large part because the ratings for those shows were atrocious.

Another huge contributing factor regarding the ratings Monday was something to do with wacking a plastic object with sticks on ice .. Playoff hockey would also take a big chunk

I would imagagine they would have to do a lot of Promo to create buzz this week.

I know a lot of people will record bachette and watch it after the voice is over! Both my mom and sister when I talked to them Monday night said that. So....
