Congrats to Kellie and Derek. I can't believe I was actually for Derek for once, but I loved him and Kellie together. That just goes to show the # of fans Derek has because we all know the Disney star has MANY. : )

I am so happy about the final result. A well deserved victory indeed!

Kelli and Derek were good but IMO Zendaya was better. Would Kelli really have won if the voting wasn't screwed up... I highly doubt it. The reality is that Derek was going to win over a Chmerkovskiy.... no way would the judges or production allow that to happen. Only way Zendaya could win was if she was partnered with Mark, another judge and production favorite due to the Ballas connection. I can see why Maks isn't on the show, he knows the score and isn't going to play their game... good for him. This show is soooo rigged it's laughable.

I thought Zendaya was better also, given her age and what and how Val could incorporate the dances they were excellent....They couldn't invoke the sensual chemistry that most of the ballroom dances needed, but what Val did brought out her talents without that......The thing is Kellie also had dance training at a young age.....Oh well Zendaya was my DWTS winner, dislike Derek, I want him without a ringer just one of these season....

I'd love to see Derek with a Winona or a Kirstie or a Bristol for once and then let's see what he can do. I don't think he could do it, he couldn't handle not having a perfect dancer to start with.

and the whole voting is down thing.... and then didn't they say that they discounted the ones that did go through?? how the hell is that fair? really ticks me off.

IA about Derek but Zendaya was the ringer. She was in a dance troupe for 3 yrs and she's only 16 so that's a huge amount of time. Obviously she's very good as a dancer should be but Kellie's not a dancer so I was far more impressed by her. She's also so darn likable while Zendaya wasn't imo. That's why Kellie won (along with being very very good) and not because the voting/show was "rigged". I'm very happy for her and was well deserved.

Kelli did have dance and gymnastic training in the past.... well that's what she said in her American Idol interview way back when..... so she had more of an advantage than Zendaya did due to age and the natural grace that comes with maturing into a woman.

Originally, I wanted Kellie all the way but, as the weeks when on, I found myself liking Zendaya's dancing more and more. Val had quite a challenge choreographing for a very tall 16 year old, and I think he did a wonderful job. I still think Kellie danced the best Monday night and am happy she won. But, Zendaya's personality really grew on me through the show. She exhibited much more maturity and humbleness than I thought she would have. Her parents deserve a lot of credit.
