This is the only place I have to go.....my guy won't even let me turn it over until he goes to work at 10pm. Soooo, gotta wait the extra two hours. LOL He can't stand that "fake romantic crap". LOL Tried to tell him it is the mystery of figuring out who it is. Falls on deaf ears!!! Such Agony!! This is the only place I can actually say the words Bachelor and Bachelorette. I don't even care who wins in the long run......just like the mystery of it all. It's like clue.....the romantic version!! :yes:

I am so ashamed of my Bach habit. My husband takes great pleasure in embarrassing me about it at every opportunity to anyone who will listen.
Secretly I think he's accepting of it because it frees him up to watch the baseball in peace.

Disclaimer: I am not in the least bit attached to either of the F2 guys. Both are hot in their own way but just not my type.

I've been thinking about the edit and doesn't anyone think it suspicious that Ben's dates of late are mirroring CL's. First they have the sad loss of a parent in common (Ben's edit has not been seen to dwell on this as CLs did). The scooter date in Taiwan (mirrors CLs portugal scooter date prior to hometowns), Sad HTD with Ben and Ash sitting on the porch (mirrors Ali and Chris in the rockers), Ben's heart to heart with his mom (mirrors CL's with his Dad), the preview of next weeks FD show Ben and Ash on a yacht and him carrying her by the pool (this so mirrors CL yacht FD with him carrying Ali out of the water). With CH's endorsement of someone we will fall in love with and Ben's hidden edit in the first three episodes it is their intention to make viewers believe that Ben is the second coming of CL. People are not buying Ben and Ash's love story because they were fooled before and still will not believe it when they have an off the charts FD next week.

The previews of Ash's sister and VO of Ash left a 100% impression that Ash picks JP (but against her family's wishes). So even when Ben and Ash heat it up in their fantasy date and she starts her bumpy ride with JP people will still believe this is all smoke and mirrors, because the previews have hinted with no uncertain doubt that JP wins in the end.

I have another take on JPs HTD (wouldn't ya know ). I think a lot of the scenes with the mother have been spliced. I think the mother gave Ash a massive grilling which accounts for Ash's facial reactions and defensive high pitched insincere squeek "Oh you are so sweet". I saw Ash's grabbing/touching reaching out at JP of the sofa as defensive body language. She certainly high tailed it out of there EARLY.

The shortness of JPs 1-1s and his HTD, his competitive edit and Ash's incessant reminders of looking for REAL and not trying to "win" her lead me to think that JP was always going to be her her F2. The Bentley crap, the less than stellar edit of JP, and Ash choosing him against her families wishes just doesn't make sense to me for a JP F1. It is just smoke and mirrors for the audience to think that Ash's picker is broken. She fell for the cad Bentley and now she's going to fall for JP, despite the edited jealousy warnings and the family disapproval.

IMO the show is getting better and going to great lengths to keep their F1 a secret. This year I believe they have executed that plan to the letter, CH, Ash and Ben included. I fully expect some more Ben spoilers in the rags come out this week.

I'm totally prepared to eat CROW (serve it up to me warm though) but for me the season's edit doesn't make sense any other way unless Benny boy is her guy.

I love thinking of new theories, but a problem I have with this theory is why was she ALL over JP during their HTD. Even if they edited it out for Ben, she was still completely gaga over JP in that episode. Unless the producers told her to be kissing him constantly. She even had both hands on him when walking down the street, not just one hand hold at one point at least - she way really holding on to him. I am fine either way, but just can't get past her saying how honest she is and it would be obvious (and watching her bluntness and honesty to the guys during the season as well) and then seeing the difference in her body language toward both men during the HTDs. But, the producers do like to mix it up, so who knows. But, if they really write their blogs also - then hard to believe she can pick Ben. I actually love how they keep changing the edits so we are on our toes - this year either it seems way too obvious or they are working hard to hide the real story and we are not sure which!

It would be a GRABBER and a KICK in the FANNY! However, while keeping in mind that we know the producers determine the rose order, Ben has gotten the same rose as Roberto in episodes 6,7, and 8, and the same rose as Ed who came back in episodes 7 and 8 while JP has gotten the same rose order as F2 Chantal in episode 5, 6, and 7 and both Chantal and ChrisL in episodes 7 & 8.
In addition, for the first time with no other explanation available, Ben is standing in Roberto, Emily, Ed, and Melissa's spot in the last Rose Ceremony picture.

I am NOT saying that Ben is F1; however, it was Portugal and it was Anquilla that the tide in the edit turned in Ali's and Brad's seasons. In Ali's season, RS was saying Ali was single, Ali was acting single in the real world, and the edit was not showing Roberto as an open F1 at all. We had to dig and flush out those clues with Blondie getting the scoop at the eleventh hour confirming an F1 Roberto.
That was a weird, wonky edit coming out of Brad's season. RS said undeniably Chantal was F1, and Brad was ALL OVER Chantal, but the edit didn't look right to me for her to be an F1. ( It didn't look good for Emily either, and I said so frequently which is foreshadowed, I think, but that is a different topic.)

Now....Ali climbed all over Chris on the Fantasy Date. I remember asking if they had perhaps given her a lot to drink? She was very physical with Chris several times for her not to feel anything for him - really!

We know how Brad was with Chantal. Wowza, wowza, wowaz,.....no wonder Emily was fit to be tied.

I have come to be very wary of the physical edit on this show, even with the Bachelorettes. It is undeniable that JP sexually turns Ashley's crank.She makes no bones about it, and she even mentions in an interview that she thinks sex is #1 on the list.
So...that is what has been emphasized in this edit with JP on Ashley's part. More than the emotional is the sexual, physical part. Is that enough for her to pick him # 1?

Or are we going to see Fleiss pull the rug out from under us in the major coup of this franchise's history?

I don't know! However, if so, there are some clues emerging to point the way.....

I wonder if they would actually repeat the rose order and stand. While some of us would hope for that, this might be the year he says....Mwahhhhh!! Do something a little different, because he knows there are psychos out there who measure the sunlight, the knuckle shape of a finger, the tag of a bag, etc. etc. LOL

Then again, he may leave it exactly like that because he knows everyone will be too busy picking apart SC's and VO's to actually think the order of the roses and stand is the same again. LOL

Some time back in April. MF had received some kind of award at a REality event held in LA. He showed up for his award. RS was there too, but didn't get to speak with him. But, MF was asked what he thought of reality steve and he gave a very colorful interview. I believe it was during this interview that he said that. This was back before I started keeping up with this stuff. But, the interview did happen because RS, of course, wrote an article about it.....and tore it up as usual. He mentioned it on his website back around the time. It's probably in the archives.

I do remember this. He called RS the "michelle bachman" of reality TV. And he has nothing more to say about him. He says he doesn't have to say anything because it's going to be fun to sit back and watch RS shoot himself in the foot.

The article was rather good where they interviewed Fleiss, but the funnier thing is RS's take on it when he brought the article to his site and proceeded to tear it apart. These guys clearly know of each other and clearly don't like each other. It's a game of one upmanship.

Just saying what I read. How much trouble he would go through...got no idea. But, after Jake....MF stated that he tracked down some of the sources and "they no longer work for me".

When you think about it the editors have been rather clever this season, JP's edit has shades of Chantal and Ben is now getting shades of CL's edit. Both were F2s.

Mike Fleiss if you are reading this...ILU.... for keeping me hooked until the end!
