I like that during this same time, when they both looked at each other the eyes said it all, both went in at the same time for the kiss and she is so comfortable with him already she hs her legs across his lap at this piont that says alot for you to cross over into someone else's space NOT to mention this is their first date. :Drool:

My only fear for Brooks is that he can handle all of Desiree's kissing, especially seeing her ask Bryden to kiss her. Although akward i hope he can see the difference in how she looks at the other guys versus how she looks at him, while this whole thing airs. The key will be Des keeping him well informed of what he is about to see each week and communicate things well.

I am hoping she may have used that journal Zak gave her to write in like Trista, like Ali, for him to read afterward to see where her head was at each day and through this whole entire process.

I was thinking how Brooks is going to handle all the kissing also. I hope he handles it like Catherine and understands that it is the process. From what I understood he watched Sean's season so he knows the lead does a lot of kissing. I guess he got a good feel on the person Des is by watching the show and he did say in an interview that he was glad it was Des. The one thing he needs to remember is that he got the first kiss and will get the last kiss. The ones in between mean nothing.

Not a DEBATE just question that has 20 different answers thats all . You all make it a Debate if u disagree. I know a happily married guy and girl couple guy wears ring on right finger. Just was curious what others thought. Why so many different answers like I said when I first asked is BROOKS HAS HIS OWN ANSWER JUST LIKE THE THOUSANDS OF OTHER MEN THAT DECIDE TO WEAR RING ON THERE RIGHT FINGER. ;)

First, can you avoid CAPS so much... it is equivalent to screaming when reading online

I did not get a gay vibe at all from him. The pic that was removed was with (I believe) one of his nephews. The ring could be anything. I think everyone is indeed allowed their opinion, but there are a few other guys with soft voices that I think look more "gay-ish" than Brooks.

And I will keep those names to myself

i can see why she liked brooks as he's seems really genuine. they definitely had a great first date. they are both really talkative and were finishing each other's sentences. it's nice to see them showing more romantic dates so far rather than the adrenaline dates.

i think i've seen some of the caps. i was hoping they'd show where brooks is carrying des piggy back style on the bridge. that was really cute but maybe they just don't want to make their connection ridiculously obvious. we'll see how brooks does waiting week after week seeing her go on the other 1-1 dates. i wonder if he'll be like JP.

My favourite bit is when they arrive on the bridge and stand by the railing and he pulls her in front of him into his arms and kiss her head. This felt like a very natural move from both of them.

Des' blog about there date. As someone noted, they built a friendship and trust and that means a lot!

I had butterflies walking into the mansion to pick Brooks up for our date. It was the start of an incredible new chapter of my life.

For that first date, I wanted someone who could be spontaneous and turn a seemingly awkward activity into fun and laughter. Brooks was the perfect choice. At first I was nervous about bringing him to a bridal salon because men don't typically know what to do around beautiful white dresses, but bridal design is my passion so it was important for me to share that. Thankfully Brooks didn't freak out. He took charge and made trying on suits and dresses hilarious and memorable, which is what I'm looking for – someone who can just let loose.

Looking into the mirror together as a couple, dressed as newlyweds, reminded me why I chose to be the Bachelorette and made me hopeful for what could be. I got genuinely excited! The best part about the car ride to the Hollywood sign with Brooks was our engaging and fun conversation. The natural banter and comfort we had continued and made the date so special. For me, the Hollywood sign represents everyone (including myself) who comes to Los Angeles to pursue their dreams, so the opportunity to sit on top of it carried a personal significance that meant so much to me.

At dinner that night, Brooks shared details of his life that are not easy to talk about. His openness allowed me to trust him and share my own life story. The setting was gorgeous on top of that bridge, but the greatest thing about the date was that we were able to get lost in conversation and truly be in the moment. We weren't focused on anything else. Dancing in the moonlight to Andy Grammar was the cherry on top. I was the happiest person alive after a successful first date and that geared me up for the dates to follow.
