Re: Episode 6 - 5/14 - Ready For Love - Discussion - Spoilers
Hi ladies. New to posting. Love reading and wanted to jump in. I love Sara with Tim and have been trying to convince myself that she is who he wants. But after this week I am bummed. He never touches her or makes any type of gesture towards her unless he is kissing her. Yes he says the right things, but after being watching the bachelor since the beginning I know editing when I see it. He just doesn't feel it. Now of course we could think they are hiding that side because it would be too obvious. But after not seeing Jenna at all, I am totally convinced she is the F1. I bet their whole date on the beach was too hot to even show. They probably would have had to end the show right there. And the obvious jealousy from the other women makes it even more evident that they are aware of the connection.
As for Angela, same thing. No show means too obvious.
Now of course I could be totally off but I think I am right. I would love to be wrong and they really pulled one over on me.

lovinlife! We are happy you are here. I happen to feel the same way you do about Sara. Us diehard Bach fans know all the editing tricks, as well as the classic "he's just not into you" body language.
I'm happy for Sara that this experience taught her to feel love again. Now go out and find your man, girl!!!
Love...thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. It brought a new lens that I hadn't considered and many valid points!
Sannee girl...we miss you! I understand how you feel about watching online. Because I have Comcast, I can watch it on XFinity on Demand, so it still feels like I'm watching it on TV! And Yes! No previews is the biggest disappointment of all. If we had them, we would have sleuthed the end for each guy, which is why I started watching and enjoying this show so much in the first place. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted! :arrowlove:

Siham did take it overboard but Jenna said things to Siham that would tick anybody off. If Tim picked Jenna, which he probably did, I don't know what will happen. I hope for Tim's sake that if he picked her she would hopefully change her attitude a little bit. Since most people on this board feel he picked Jenna, I am looking foward to seeing some more substance in their relationship. All the physical stuff is great at first, but for a relationship to withstand the pressures of this world there has to be more than that IMHO. :hidingchair
Come out from under the chair.. nothing wrong with telling us your opinion. While the rolling of the eyes was not the best choice for Jenna... I have to say... I have a young daughter (too young to date but) I would rather have her rolling her eyes about girls in love after a month of dating a guy who still has 4 other girls, than have her be one of the girls so "in love" on a reality tv show. I will overlook the behavior, because the viewpoint is so refreshing and healthy. Her mom should be proud that her daughter has that self confidence and maturity, even in "the bubble" of these shows. That far outweighed the eye rolling for me.
I bet her mom would have been even more proud of her daughter had she stated how she felt without being disrespectful to someone for having a difference in opinion. Jenna doesn't have to agree. She has the same right to her feelings as Siham does, without being judgmental. It's honoring and respecting people for where they are at, whether you agree with them or not. That's maturity. IMHO
It appears that the Siham/Jenna exchange was not made for tv as I noticed that Siham is following many of the women from her group as well as the other two groups but is not following Jenna on twitter.
As far as Tim and Sara, I see him having tender feelings for her. And I think he does realize the goodness of fit between them. I don't, however, see anywhere near the same chemistry that he seems to have with Jenna. It's interesting though to me that many of the comments on Sara's FB page from people whom I know are friends with her speak about the chemistry they are seeing between them.
I am also interested by what I think I read that Tim said post-show that his relationship with his chosen was "easy." Given what I have already seen of Jenna and based on a couple of her tweets that I brought over here the other night, she seems to have a cynicism about people that I find surprising in a woman as young as she is. Such cynicism does not usually make relationships easy.

I get that Bee which is why I said it was not the best choice on Jenna's part. But as a mom, you could sit down and talk through that problem. Having the self-confidence and IMO the good sense to not get swept up in this situation in such a short time came from a lifetime of experiences she had with her family, probably her father in particular. You can't just have a chat about that one.

FWIW, Jenna and Siham are FB friends. Jenna followed Siham on twitter a long time ago. In fact, soon after she followed the guys. I believe Sarah Moore was her first follow of Tim's girls, then Siham. Incidentally, the reason Hailey is a recent Jenna follow (and vice versa) is because I caught the both of them red handed testing out how followers are shown in your profile on twitter...in other words, does it go in order from your most recent follow? Literally, I was watching it happen. I tweeted them about it at the time and got a cryptic response. :)
On another interesting note, Angela and Shandi were followed by Jenna also in that same time frame as Siham. Did Jenna follow the other F1s immediately? Something to ponder...

First bold...Tim and Sara will always share that bond of loss and I applaud him for his tenderness towards her. Until you go through something like that, you have no idea what it is like.
Second bold...I'd love to hear your thoughts on this one, doc. Do you think we see what we want to see because we are looking for it with our faves? How many can have an open mind and still have a fave?
Third bold...Perhaps it is easy because Jenna is a different person when she is with Tim? Perhaps they are on the same page with cynicism, based on common shared experiences?

As I see it, the editors are creating hurdles for each of Tim's F3.
Jenna - Needs to show Tim more substance (not just physical chemistry).
Hailey - Needs to curb her humor and self-depracation.
Sara - Needs to show a fun/humorous side.
The storyline we're getting is that none of these girls are doing what the MM's tell them to do (as per above). And if they are, it's minimally being shown. But that's the storyline here. They don't want us to think at this point that any of these women are overcoming their hurdles. The storyline would arc too soon.
Regardless of what the truth is behind Tim's relationship with his F3, we're getting the "story".

jojo I agree, except that Jenna has been doing what Tracy wants her to and is happy with how things are going with her and Tim. Matt doesn't like it so much, but he's not her MM.
Love, great points!
San wish they had previews too, no reason to cut them out!
Amazon still hasn't uploaded this episode! Hope they didn't stop.

I think Jenna is showing substance. She addressed her age, she knew the most about him in the game, she addressed her jealousy issue. She does not have a back story like the others to tell, so it just seems that she the physical relationship. I think she handles herself very well on stage. She is attacked each week. on the 4/30 episode Shiam and backed by Hailey called her immature. It just seem that everyone is trying to get one up on her because they see the connection she has with Tim.
Sara always thinks her dates went so well but each time the MMs show were they are lacking. How does she always get it so wrong. Maybe last week was better but is that what Tom needs a personal and professional life being one and the same.

Re: Episode 6 - 5/14 - Ready For Love - Discussion - Spoilers
Count me as officially not a fan of Jenna. (I was wavering before.) Last night was not the first time she's rolled her eyes at someone when they're talking onstage and she has done it with Matt as well. And let's not forget her jealous streak. She dislikes Siham for dancing to the music and pulling Tim up?! Puh-lease. Last week she was the one trying to focus his attention on her while taking Tracy's advice and acting like his girlfriend. What would she be like as his band performs and groupies follow them? Her jealousy makes her ugly, IMO, and it's interesting to me that both Sara & Hailey were supporting Siham and backing up her comments. They don't strike me as 'drama queens' who like to stir things up but voices of reason so the fact that they supported Siham's comments lends credence to what she was saying, just as it did last week or the week before when they did the same.
I know some are saying that Jenna's time with Tim wasn't shown because it'd be too obvious but I'm assuming the matchmakers saw it, right? And yet Amber still tells Sara that she's betting on her. And Tracy says it's anyone's game. Interesting, no? I also don't know that the matchmakers not sending Jenna down really means anything - wouldn't the producers, after what happened between Shandi and Ernesto, hope for something like that to happen between Ben & someone or Tim & someone? JMO.
IDK - I see the emotional connection between Sara and Tim. He told her to her face so we could see it that he'd been thinking about her all week. But I don't see sparks jumping off my screen. That said, he wasn't closing his kisses off to her like he did with Hailey. She kept going in for the tongue and he'd keep his mouth closed. It kind of reminded me of those yucky Ali/Chris L kisses. Jenna and Tim obviously have chemistry but we need to see if there's substance behind it as well. I'm still not convinced...
As far as the rest of the show - I actually think it's too bad if Ernesto didn't choose Alba - they've got the chemistry and the same kind of background and would totally 'get' each other. Shandi is sweet but I still get the impression that she'd just be someone for him to show off and he wouldn't totally understand her. I mean, she's got her own show and career and I don't see him wanting that in his partner.
Ben, damn, I wish Allie would be sent away. I'm so over her comments and gestures and everything. I actually like Tarryn and think she's doing a good job of reeling Ben in. I mean, he used the "F" word (fate) down in the garden. That was a big woah! moment. I'll be curious to see what happens next week in her showdown with Allie...
