actually, to me what Renea and Tarrny were saying about Allie's disinterest kinda makes sense and it's not attack on her intelligence, because nobody is saying that Allie isn't smart enough, actually she is very wise in how to "work it", so that she gets Ben's attention.

She gets defensive very easily.... and gets set off very easily.....

The storytelling is a little confusing. I don't know how he gets to the point of proposing to either girl, let alone Angela! I also, know that most of Ben's RFL girls have been spotted hanging out together (including Kari and Allie), except for Angela. So I agree, that I could kind of see how Angela would be more upset then Allie given that Allie and Kari seemed to have buried the hatchet. Also, from the excellent sleuths on this forum we learned that Angela and Ben were both in NYC for Valentine's Day as well as San Francisco for NYE. That's a little too coincidental for me.

I see that Allie's story has been progressing now to the point where she is able to tell Ben that she loves him. I wonder if it will plateau in the next episode or get stronger. However, we went from her being a shoe in to win this thing with last weeks garden confession to Ben expressing doubts about their relationship in the garden this week. If Angela is F1, maybe we will see his doubts about Allie confirmed when they "live" together next week.

Angela's story has been building, albeit very slowly. Maybe next week Ben will realize and get to appreciate her laid back attitude during their living situation and realize that's what he wants.

I don't see Angela ever stressed about the women or the RFL process, but I can see her being stressed about an engagement that has had to be a secret for almost 10 months. I really pity which ever lady it is.

I totally agree with everything u wrote. but seeing how ben kisses all the girls and how physical he gets with them it would be very interesting if he did indeed choose angela who happens to be a virgin. i just dun see ben holding it out for so long laugh out loud

. maybe that could very well be the reason why he proposes to her coz the only way angela would give it up is tru marriage so maybe thats why he proposes in the end.

Again, she goes to the crazy girl place as soon as someone confronts her. Don't get me wrong, I have no idea what Tarryn is trying to convey only that because she can do it in a calm matter, she's right. scratch

I agree with Angela, that all Allie needed to say to Tarryn was that she was sorry that situation escalated, but she doesn't agree with Tarryn's assessment of her. Allie lets people get into her head too easily.

10 months is so much to ask of them. I mean what about the girls who weren't chosen. Are they supposed to put their life on hold for almost a year. I know they probably have only been in hiding since the show aired but the couples who chose one another had to hide out for 10 months. Ridiculous! Yeah I am starting to really see Angela as F1. Again I have no idea really.

what I picked from Renae last time was, that Allie isn't interested in Ben's world, not that she needs to know about stock market and business things, but that she's not even trying to know more about Ben's interests and she's solely relying on attraction/chemistry/something unexplainable between them/energy ... which is great for a night, week or more, but for long distance relationship, you have to have more things in common, the substance talk.
BTW - Wasn't Matt saying that to Jenna? (but he never reproach anything to his girl about this)
Tarryn continued from that conversation and added some more "critics", that I can't say whether they were true or not.

Now that I have rewatched Ben's portion of the recent episode, I'm not convinced that Allie is F1 either. For some reason (haven't figured out why), we did not see Ben's alone time with Allie's father. However, we saw Ben's alone time with Angela's father, and I think that Ben asked for permission to marry Angela. The fact that we didn't see Ben's alone time with Allie's father is a key missing piece of the puzzle, and it causes me to question Allie being F1. It's confusing because Ben does appear to have real feelings for Allie.

What throws me off with Angela is her blogging the Show and during interviews that make me think that she's marketing herself for something (don't know what yet). So, I really am confused about Ben's F1.

Her twitter says that she is in Houston and LA. I'd say she's got some Hollywood plans. I'm not sure how that fits in with Ben.

You do make alot of sense. When allie told ben's family they have alot in common and his sister asked her what? she's like i dun know we just click. she had no answer for her. Ben and allie have absolutely nothing in common. just like u said their relationship is just based on attraction. Shandi and the ladies on afterbuzz even talked about that. Attraction alone doesn't keep a relationship going. it takes more than that to build a long lasting relationship. Too bad some people didn't understand where renae and tarryn were coming from and thought they meant to say that allie isn't smart.

Yes to everything! I am back on Team Angela, folks. I have liked her from the start and love how she is handling herself with such dignity in a very nutty process. She is friends with everyone and that's a good thing. The fact that she is able to reason with Allie is pretty impressive.

I am with Angela's step-father ... she IS the type of girl you bring home to parents and marry. I hope she is happy with (or without) Ben.
