how did dallas become the center of the reality dating show universe? somehow this completely passed me by!

I know Dallas is the Mecca of reality TV. They ALL know one another and are friends and party together, Ben, Courtney, Kari, Tanner, Sean, Jake P, Matt Nordgren, etc I think they are all in it together. They have all been on Bachelor, Bachelorette, RFL, or Most Eligible Dallas. It's ridiculous!

Exclusive interview: Angela Zatopek of 'Ready for Love' talks

Ready for Love” is a dating show initially airing prime time Tuesdays on NBC after The Voice, and has now shifted to NBC.com, HULU and Video on Demand. On May 15, I was given the opportunity to speak to Angela Zatopek who is one of the bachelorettes matched with Dallas "business financier", Ben Patton.

To a lot of viewers, Angela has definitely stood out as a contestant with her strong Christian values and stance towards dating & marriage. Although her beliefs are traditional with dating, the blonde Texas beauty is a very modern and trendy young woman. She was in Miss Texas USA 2 years ago which led to her getting chosen to be featured on for "Ready For Love".

A really interesting fact I learned, Angela was also approached to appear as a lead on CBS dating series "Three" as a lead bachelorette around the same time as "Ready For Love" casting. On "Three", she would be choosing from a pool of men to find which was most compatible, equivalent to Ben's lead role on "Ready For Love". After a lot of consideration however, she decided to be among the cast of women to risk being eliminated for a chance to meet Ben.

NBC was her first time to step onto reality TV, however the camera isn't a foreign concept since she was a sports broadcaster where she attended college at the University of Texas at Austin.

Angela Zatopek knows how the show ends, but of course has her lips sealed! She guarantees however it is not a show you want to miss. She explains viewers can not only watch their journey last summer, but also pick up dating tips weekly from the matchmaker interviews they went through to use personally. Thanks Love_Me! So Angela has a Texas connection too! And, Austin, Texas just like Jenna.

I wonder if Angela and Ben ever had some prior connection which is why she'd say yes to being on his team vs. being a lead.

I have liked what I've seen of Angela onscreen. I can see Ben picking her ... she's got a seriously rocking body, very low drama (so far), very poised, obviously knows/likes sports and is a virgin to boot. For a guy ... what's not to like?

If they are both phony ... well, at least she's getting some exposure from it.
