I am so uninterested in Ben's part of the show now that Kari is going. Just because it was something interesting. It is boring now. I feel we have life sized barbie, crazy girl, smart girl, and girl who does really talk and does nothing, then we have sorority girl. Just so cliche....But I think that something unexpected is going to happen at the end. Kari was asked if she would come back on the final and scoop him up and she responded that it is much better than that. HMMMMM

I think these recent tweets let us in on the real situation. I think Kari was pursued to be on the show and she is just sick of being slammed. She also basically says that she is over it when it comes to Ben and uptown knows why. I think something happened or Ben didn't something not so nice. We might see a lot of truth come out after the final.

All I get from these tweets is that RFL is over for her (she's back with Tanner) and she was approached to be on the show. I've always been sure that the producers convinced her to be on the show - probably by lying to her or at the very least embellishing what Ben said about her to them during his casting interview process. Actually, considering that he still seems hung up on her, they probably didnt have to embellish anything.
Also - she is still a bitch in my eyes. She didnt have to be so rude about Tarryn in the tweet.

Great - she comes back too and he picks her? Is is possible they dated again for a number of months? How quickly did she get back together with Tanner? Because one of his tweets led me to believe that it was in February.

No I agree with you totally. She may be a bitch but I think Tarynn is as well. A lot of stuff when on behind the scenes I think that we are not privy to ya know. I am really not liking any of Ben's girls. I am only still watching his story line because I think something crazy happens in the final. O and BTW do you think Tanner is a little creepy. The foot thing bothers me. :vomit:

If this is ture and it certainly seems to be what Kari wants us to believe, it's really surprising that Amber would want her on her team. Of all the matchmakers, Amber seems to really believe in her girls...to the point of being emotional about Kari last week. With Amber's supposed $50,000 price tag, I would think she'd want to protect her image and not get caught up in the producer's games...unless they hoodwinked her, too.

I'd love to know when Tanner and Kari broke up. He tweeted that they'd been together for 3 and 1/2 years. But they surely were not together last spring when she was approached to do the show. He must not have been the boyfriend she went back to after breaking up with Ben.

See I think Kari got talked into trying again. I do think she had feelings for Ben and think she was told he had feelings for her. That is how they got them on the show. I don't think Kari was lying about how she felt but I do think she was there to see if it would work out. She didn't say she was in love with him but that she could see herself falling in love with him. I think Ben at a time was used to things revolving around him. He probably thought she would just stick around and follow him. When he didn't show her attention she called him on it. So I think she was brought on the show under falls pretenses but her intentions were true. She really didn't gain a thing from being on the show. She has gotten bashed or she is loved but her life wasn't bettered by it unlike some of the other girls and their music careers, or jewelry lines, or fashion blogs, etc. I mean Beth even released a song. I think a lot of people were on to further themselves Kari really hasn't gained a thing. She might even be worse off by it. And if Ben was truly on the show to find love then why go on the show? Why not just hire one of the match makers privately. I tell you why. He is on there to promote his businesses. We haven't seen a lot of interviews with Tim or Ernesto but Ben is just all over the place. The poster child for Ready For Love. It's all business for him.

Yeah they were broken up for a while before going on the show and he was the guy she went back to after Ben. Ben was working all the time and she was alone most of the time. She wouldn't hear from him for a while so of course a young 22 year old girls is going to go out. Dallas is like the Mecca of reality TV and Tanner was on the bachelorette and getting a lot of attention at the time. He hooked onto Kari.

Maybe I should walk that statement back a bit. In an interview with Huffington Post, Tim talked about why he did the show. He referred to the fact that if he did the matchmaking process without the show, it would have cost him $50,000. He wasn't going to pay that. (This is not verbatim, but it's the essence of what he said.) I attributed that price to Amber because she has such a successful matchmaking business in SF, but that may, in fact, not be what she charges.

But Ben said she was the one he thought about for 4 years. So they broke up 5 years ago (4 years before taping).

I think Kari likes to play games and is clearly enjoying the attention she's receiving from twitter fans and wants to keep things going a little longer. I have no idea ... other than the obvious desire to extend her 15 minutes of fame ... why she's teasing people on twitter about the ending of the show. In the After Buzz interview he said she obviously hadn't resolved her feelings for her ex and couldn't give him a clear answer about him. I don't see any way in which she'd return to the show. He also made it clear he picked someone other than her.

I'm with you, tigertiz. She definitely seems to be back together with Tanner Pope and it looks from tweets and Instagram it's been since February. She appears to be on a trip to Seattle right now and tweeted him:

I think you guys are reading me wrong. I am not pro Kari being with Ben at all. He did choose someone else however don't think it is working out with this girl. Kari is back with Tanner but it took 5 months to do so. She wasn't immediately back with him. The show finished taping in August. Looks like they got back together in February. I don't think Kari is out for her 15 min. of fame. She really isn't getting that much attention. We also have to remember this happened almost a year ago. In that time she got no attention. I just think people are having very strong reactions to her. They either love her or hate her. My point is she is the only interesting girl from Ben's segment. The rest of the story is just boring. There is A LOT that goes on behind the scenes that we never see. Date they are on that we never see. My point is that they wanted this show to be different and to be a shocker so what we may be seeing is not actually reality. I mean even Ben said Kari is not that bad. He was in love with her. I don't think he would fall for a complete bitch. I am not on the Kari band wagon by any means but I definitely think there is way more to this story than meets the eye.
