Here is the poster for Ben's season.

Before his season even started the tagline pretty much gave it away that Courtney was the F1.

I think the fingers even look a lot like hers too. Though I doubt they used her for these posters.

I have to remind myself that some of the Bachelor posters (and Jen's too) were likely made after the final rose ceremony since we have that month and a half to two month "window" between November filming and January broadcast. With the springtime shows, the finale is shot barely two weeks before episode #1's showtime. With Jillian's season, they were STILL filming in Hawaii when the first show aired.

In hindsight, Brad's second season was downright weird. I can't escape this sinister feeling... perhaps I'm completely wrong, but I still have that feeling... that Mike Fleiss wanted to see him get "dumped" by the one he chooses. Emily certainly had "cold feet" that season; she did say "yes" to his proposal, but the way their breakup was handled was very surreal and open to a variety of different speculations. They also milked that "Brad does not have a good reputation" line (on account of his double dump a.k.a. Jen Schefft previously) all the way to the bank. It was as if they were setting him up like Blaze in this latest installment of BURNING LOVE: BRINGING DOWN THE HOUSE... sort of a "karmic" turnaround of becoming the heartbreakee rather than the heartbreaker. Of course, Emily was so "lovable", she wouldn't be viewed as a villain in any way. We would just feel sorry for Brad.

Sad to see Julien Hug prominent up front on Jillian's poster. He's the one closest to her.

The Alex one is from the DVD but I guess it is similar to the original posters. We would have to dig out antique TV Guides and Entertainment Weekly magazines from 2002 to see for certain.

I still remember when people got all over Shannon for not being all gaga over Alex and she refused to go into the fantasy suite. I know I would, if it were Alex! giggling

Alex's Final 1 had an interview with TV Guide about how Alex pretty much ignored her after being picked. She wanted to move to CA to be with him and she literally had to find an apartment by herself and she had no job! If you guys think this show is crazy now...I wish I could find that article!

OK... I finally saw the different promo on DWTS after it was uploaded to youtube. Brooks is shown very fleetingly, but that is like the shots of Chris B. and Ryan B. in Emily's video. Jef was shown in her early one in London but it was a flash moment.

I am mighty curious now who is Knight Boy.

OK... THE CRINGE.

Looking at the past three Bachelorette "teasers" from past Aprils... (well, Ashley's was May 2nd)
1.) Emily was looking down sad after The Helicopter (Kalon) arrives.
2.) Ashley's promo showed her heartbroken and burning William's rose in Chiang Mai.
3.) Ali is kissing Frank as if he's the love of her life on her April 20, 2010 one shown during DWTS.

Did any of this foreshadow events happening in the yet-to-be-filmed (in the 2nd week of May) finales those seasons?

By the way...

1.) In Emily's, she is kissing Chris B. twice and Jef and Kermit the Frog fleetingly. She also dances with Chris B.
2.) Ashley kisses nobody in hers.
3.) In Ali's, Frank is the only one she is romantic with.

Desiree is shown dancing with Brooks and, when you slow motion it like the youtube version, she is hardly looking at him!

Maybe Brooks is F1? If so, they are breaking some old patterns. For a little while (after Reality Steve's post), I started speculating Brooks as the one, but I am once again back to Drew vs. Chris again.

JBF, what do you make of the fact that despite being F4, Chris S. is nowhere to be found in the first promos of the season...unless of course, he is knight boy! giggling

I've been checking the hands of Knight Boy... really hard call. They could be Chris'... or not. Reality Steve will tell us soon enough. Funny he never mentioned this stunt happening on night #1 before. Wouldn't it be important?
