Hi! Just trying to open discussion up about the Final 3.

So happy to see this. I like a place to just discuss our thoughts, etc. post show. I felt as if threads closed down pretty early this season.

Anyway, onto Drew. He seems to be having a great time now that he is "officially" off the show. He's been out and about with the Santa Monica crew and was at a benefit in Beverly Hills on Friday night for cancer research with his modeling clients.

I hope he has terrific success in every aspect of his life, particularly After the awful way they treated him. I still think he did something to piss them off. He probably turned down the Lead and that forced them to scramble and hire the guy that never even had a 1 on 1 date.

Good question, veg. I'd love to hear opinions.

Oh I definitely think Drew would have been cut at F3. She was totally pulling back from him on their F3 date and their chemistry was just off.

Plus at end of the F3 rose ceremony (w/o Brooks) she walked straight into Chris arms, which even Drew mentioned at ATFR ...

I think you're most likely correct, mom. Leads also take someone who's a friend but not a threat to the F1 to the F2. If we're to believe Des' words about Brooks all season, I could have seen Des doing that on one hand, but then I can't see her letting go of Chris at F3 either! I think that even if Brooks had stayed, that last week in Antigua with family and LCDs would have been critical to the outcome. I'd have DIED to see Brooks v. Nate WWF Throwdown!

Ah, veg_out ... you're right about leads taking a non-threat to F2.

Hmmm ... let me re-think ...

Well, I still think that she would have taken Chris because she said so herself she never wanted to say goodbye to him. But, if Brooks had still been there, that would mean Brooks would have been "into" her and returning her feelings so gosh, really hard to say. I guess we just have to say THANK YOU Brooks so we'll never have to know for sure.

But looking back ... I really think she liked sweet Drew but never thought they had great chemistry ... even when he had her up against the wall on their 1-on-1 date. I think it was pretty much always between Chris & Brooks and that Zak & Drew were more friend w/benefits zone. I almost think that James was as much in the running as Zak & Drew if not more as he was showing her a different side to him.

So glad to see these threads back. I sure missed being able to read the epi thread for the last couple!

Sometimes I think she thought he was too nice for her. She always claimed he had such a kind heart. Maybe she felt she didn't measure up or something. But I think it would have been Chris and Brooks just in case Brooks didn't ask her to marry him.

What does anyone think happened in the FS? They left out any talk of "time alone to talk" it seems. I wondered if that was intentional to keep the audience thinking she was more into the guys than she was?

Both Drew & Chris are the definition of a gentleman. I feel that Des/Drew definitely did not sleep together. I would hope that Des would not let the FS get too physical with Drew if she knew that this was the end for him. Most guys wouldn't care, but something tells me Drew might. Hey, I could be totally wrong, but he seemed fully invested and because of that, sleeping with him would've sent the wrong message.

I have a hard time deciding what I think happened with Chris in the FS. My guess is it was much more physical than Drew's, but here again, he's such a respectful guy ~ he probably put the brakes on it LOL!! They actually aired him telling her he just wanted to gaze at the stars with her...

You might be right. It's hard to know why they didn't highlight Drew more, especially with his looks. It's like cutting off your nose to spite your face.  

I do think Drew would have been f3 just like I believe Chris Lambton would have been if Frank hadn't left.

Can someone bring over that incredible new modeling pic of Drew? And to think he's a nice man too! I agree he turned them down and that's why they minimized his role and talked trash about him. Their loss. I just do not for a second believe they chose JP over Drew. It makes absolutely no logical sense.
