I know the vast majority of viewers are normal and not addicted to solving the show! But MF knows we sleuth these kind of things. I totally agree with your post. If Fleiss & Company are trying to fool RS this season, they are really going all out to do it. Fleiss' people fooled RS for Brad's season about the Thanksgiving dinner that Brad had with Chantal & her family. Nothing surprises me anymore. Remember, don't ever count Fleiss out. He has surprised me so many times with his edits. I have learned the hard way.

JP didn't need to be in a disguise because technically (like Dino), there is still a chance that he could be eliminated at F3, and then he would just be flying in to LA from NYC on Friday night for the taping of the MTA on Saturday, probably just like Ames did. In fact, him being spotted could only add to the speculation among average unspoiled viewers that he was there for the MTA (although we know otherwise), which would be a win-win for producers.

How does the disguise thing work these days with security being the way it is at airports now? I've been wondering that for awhile. How do they manage that?

In saying the above, technically Ben F should have been in LA as well, as he could also have been let go at F3. Someone also mentioned about being in disguise, unfortunately TSA would not be at all approving if any of the F3 did not look like their photo ID, so disguises would be out.

I think the whole idea of "disguises" has been a bit embellished.
However, in this particular case for the typical unspoiled viewer, after Monday's show the F3 were Dino, Ben and JP. So anyone showing up in LA on Friday would tend to make the public believe he was there for the MTN and thus eliminated at F3.
I can't count the times in the past, when we were not positive of who the F3 was, we were waiting for some type of confirmation after the WTN or MTN of who was there for F3 spot. Code words were invented. Anyone remember Snow White(Lisa), Sleeping Beauty(Sadie) and Cinderella(Jen)? How silly we were!
So having JP be easily spotted in LA, as another poster referenced, would only mix things up for the unspoiled.
It would most likely make one believe Ben is the F1, since JP would be "there" for the MTN.

We have to also keep in mind this year the timing is different and MTA and ATFR are taping more or less the same weekend. That doesn't generally happen. Perhaps other times when JP went to the safehouse, he needed to, and did wear disguises. However, this particular time, because of the MTA taping at the same time, it provided cover for him to be there; therefore, no disguise necessary.

And Ben COULD have gone to LA at the same time with the same cover/excuse, but he didn't need to go, unless the producers are really trying to pull off some elaborate ruse, which I don't believe they are.
