And I guess another huge factor - Drew who hasn't yet opened his score card. The season previews have certianly shown us a lot of kisses between them - endearing, longing and downright sexy coming up starting from monday (ep4).
This more than anything is the basis of questioning how F1 was her front-runner from the time he stepped out of the limo. I just don't see it.

I agree about Drew. I agree that she didn't have a final 1 guy since night one let alone week 3.

I agree about Drew.  I agree that she didn't have a final 1 guy since night one let alone week 3.

I agree, I think she had some front runners (and Brooks was on that list) but she wasn't set on F1 yet. I don't think we have ever had a lead know F1 for sure at this point.

Wow.  I didn't even notice until you pointed it out!  She doesn't mention any other dress she made.  That's an interesting color she picked...never seen her wear that type of green before.

it looks like either a bible or a fat journal to me. it might be a journal with the pen sitting next to it and we know des is a big journal writer.

i randomly came across this yesterday. it's a bible with space in the margins for journaling. i'm betting that is what des had on the table.

Is she that religious ? That she has a bible at hand all the time ?

i don't know where that scene with the coffee table & drawing board is from but if it is the house she's staying in on the show then she probably had it lying around and probably reads it daily. i don't think they allow any media (tv, internet, etc) so she's probably reading the bible, other books, journaling and sketching/doodling when she has free time. it's not like she is walking around with her big fat bible all the time, lol.

That scene is when she got the call from Chris Harrison to come to the house to confront Brian about having a girlfriend. :)

Keep in mind that Desiree has had very few one-on-ones so far....to decide that she has great chemistry with any of the guys is enormously premature.  Although we have seen plenty of kissing, we haven't seen enough opportunities for a true personal connection with most of the men.  Drew is a perfect example of that.  I truly believe that if we were NOT spoiled, our opinions would have been quite different and a lot more creative and open minded.  It is easy to get on the "winner train" whether you intend to or not. 

Whomever stated that Des knew from the start who she wanted is either making her appear as a total sleazebag or (if they are wrong) has given her a uncalled-for misrepresentation.  In this case, speculation spoken as truth is ugly.

RS and Love Me confirmed that Des knew fairly early on (maybe not by week 3 but certainly not at the end) who she was picking so its not ideal speculation as it based on at least two sources  who have a solid track record. I also tell you that many of my unspoiled friends and mother (who couldn't use a computer if you paid her) have already noticed Des' connect to Brooks and Chris so "winner train" or not its pretty obvious to many people. I agree with you that we don't have ton of interaction between Des and Drew but I would remind you that he is only one of the F3/F4 that we saw Des sit and talk to and give a rose to on night one.

Love_me and Sanlee never said that Brooks was Final 1 from early on. They said he was a frontrunner and that's it. When we read that, it was obvious he'd at least make it to HTD. No other specifics were given.

My source can confirm that Desiree picked Brooks at the FRC and Chris is the F2 guy.
