Often the blogs are formulaic. Meaning they have to follow a certain storyboard. So I would put little to no faith in that...it's part of the show.

That's technically correct...but I don't think you can "fake" it either. Des is not that good an actress, IMO.

You can tell when someone is faking it -- Brad 1.0, Bob, Aaron, Lorenzo, Jen Scheft, Travis, Matt, all did media and you could just tell it was B.S.

I also remember Jillian tensing up every time Reid's name was mentioned in interviews like it made her uncomfortable....at the time lots of us thought it was F1 evidence but it was the whole him coming back thing that was the cause of her distress.

As I said before we will have to wait and see...but I think you can pick up when something is wrong and Des has been pretty solid to me so far. I definitely see a twinkle in her eyes. And I am not just saying that because I'm a Brooks fan or want the fairy-tale. If I felt like she was faking it or seemed off, I would say that. But I truly believe that is not the case from what I have seen from her. I look at her reactions to certain things/questions (she also not good at media either so it easy).

I personally think she gave away that Brooks was F1 on Jimmy Kimmel because she got so tense. Jimmy even joked that she look "traumatized" and she did!

I am apparently really bad at reading body language etc. particularly on this show so I bow to those who nail it.
If you and Jimmy say she looked traumatized then she did.

Yes I remember that Jillian did look "different" when Reid was brought up but back then when she was doing those interviews we did not know that Reid was the cause of some of her upset at the end. When I saw her I thought she was "surprised" that the interviews even had him on their radar (thanks to the overwhelming love folks developed for a guy who barely had any real screen time to speak of for the 1st couple of episodes ).

Is it possible that Des looked uncomfortable because Jimmy nailed it in his declaration OR because Brooks was merely part of some drama for her at the end ? Guess we'll have to wait and see but obviously either is possible.

Perhaps you are right. However, it was the Blogs in Brad 2.0 that told a different story from what RS had spoiled. So personally I don't discount them completely.

On the same topic CH made sure to put in the dountb about the first date curse in his blog but made sure to say that Brooks is a strong man to overcome it (not what he said but just the general idea). This as opposed to Ashley H on Brad 2.0 and other 1st date contestants who started becoming unravelled pretty darn quite after a great 1st date.

She looked traumatized.

If you have 22 mins...I would recommend watching Des' Huff Po Live interview in its entirety. I had only see some clips but its interesting given all the speculation over Fleiss' comments and the status of her & F1:

*1:30 - Told TPTB she was looking for someone who was spontaneous adventurous, caring and could be her best friend.

* 8:00 - Has not followed past season couples. Doesn't understand why they don't stay together. Not worried about it for herself ,if she picked someone. In her day to day life, treats her relationship as her #1 priority and when she is in love she makes it work and gives it her all.

* 9:00 - Despite extravagant dates, questions are asked. You need to stay strong with each other and really getting past how you met and living your life as you would.

*9:44 - the show is like 10 years of dating pushed into 10 weeks and it works.

*11:20 - Was aware and observant on group dates to see how the men got along. How they treat other was a good indicate of how they would treat her.

*11:52- No one cries pretty. Lots of tears. Some emotional men but in a good way. raw emotions

*12:25- Made her own rules. Followed her heart whenever she could. And if that meant doing something unconventionally or not in the rule book she would follow her heart.

*12:47 -Many times when she had to live her life and if she knew something was wrong or not right with someone she had to address it on the spot.

*13:11 - Never wanted to break anyone heart but she was there for one reason was always in the back of her mind.

*14:40 - No regrets. Not at all. Stayed true to her decisions and was always confident in what she was doing throughout.

*14:53 - No pretty cries :) Just a mess. Its real emotion and heartbreak.

*15:25 - Chris was like her girlfriend and she could talk to him and she shared everything with him. And he understood. Was on call if she needed him.

*17:38 - This season was/is her fairy-tale. Being able to meet 25 guys and have the dates catered to her.

*19:32 - If she did choose someone, if you find love, you know you know and doesn't need 3 years to get married.

*20:05 - Dream wedding would be small, intimate, and overlooking the ocean.

*21:22 - Looking forward into everyone to share her journey and be surprised every step of the way.

I provided the link to interview and video timestamp for anyone who wants to see it....at very end 21:49 in the video. Abby Huntman says "And you might have found love?". Desiree says "may have" (smiling and nodding her head yes). Des was extremely comfortable (and Abby is sweet) so maybe that was spill up on her part briefly but of all the interviews I have seen for Des this was her most candid, IMO.
