She looks great - just expected to see somethiing a little more saucier or romantic looking than leggings and a shirt. Maybe my age is showing!

I saw that article on WetPaint about the promo shots for all 9 bachelorettes. Desiree's look is more "down-to-earth" compared to theirs. It suits her persona being the girl-next-door if that's the angle the network is playing.

From what I saw when they announced her being the next Bachette on the AFR, she seems so humble and genuinely touched so many people were supporting her during Sean's season and now her own. I agree, Love. You can tell how sincere her smile is in those promo shots. danceround

I love seeing "down to earth" Desiree -- such a delightful change from "plastic" Emily! I hope that, in real life, Emily is more comfy and cozy...but on the show, she was styled as a fake Barbie. I think that Desiree is simply adorable.

I think it has something to do with her family struggles and how she grew up. She came from very humble beginnings. To go from that to 25 eligible bachelors vying for you affection and hand in marriage must be an overwhelming thought to say the least. :yes:
