I always remember the bachelorette starting on or near Memorial Day. I was surprised they were starting earlier. Des's season seems to be on track with the others.

I agree that 2 hours is better than one- Emily's seemed so short at only one hour. And with no BP, they have more flexibility later in the summer (for the finale). I had thought that DWTS would have been one hour with B-ette two, but they must have figured out how to do enough dancing on the last night of competition to fill two hours.

^^^^ It was one or one and a half. But they raced the guys in, she had a few conversations (Jef, Arie, Kalon, Ryan, the dude with the son from WA (senior moment, can't remember his name) and done.
