Is there a reason why we didn't really hear from or see Ashley S. much last night? I didn't even see her walk down the aisle....I must have missed it!

the only thing about the dress I didn't like was the mermaidness of it - I think it would've been much nicer if it was a simpler straighter hang.

I'm not sure if I agree with you on this one, Anders. I did think the dress and the detailing on the top was gorgeous. Just wish that the train had not been so heavy.....she seemed to really have trouble pulling it down the aisle behind her (to say nothing about getting it stuck on the boardwalk--Mindy should have had a runner for that).

yeah - i think the detailing of the upper portion was gorgeous and the train/shape of the dress distracted from it. I agree the train was too much for that dress and for her.

I think that's where the production/editing kicked in: for storytelling purposes they focused on their "stars": Ashley, JP, CH, Ilene, and Chryssie, with cameos from former/current Bach leads/F1s. They didn't attempt to represent Ashley's full complement of friends (or JP's for that matter) or their real roles in the wedding celebration.

I feel that most people want to keep their life private. I'm sure that ABC respected the family and JP/Ash to keep their real life stuff and friends off TV. The real wedding and guests support Ash and JP and their love, not part of the ABC show. They had to have "the stars" agree to be vocal and seen, but the TV part was JAPASH and fans wanted that.
