I just stumbled along the forum now and I am elated that there’s a group of like-minded CANADIANS who share the same interest for the show. Working in law enforcement, I don’t have too many female co-workers to gossip with, so this is a fantastic refuge for me to get the inside scoop and share our opinions! Thanks SO MUCH to the people who put this together, you guys are amazing. :Smiley:

As for this season, I was incredibly happy that Brad picked Bianka, not only was their chemistry fantastic, but unlike so many other seasons, I truly feel that these guys have a shot with each other. Unlike any contestant that I have ever seen before, Bianka was so honest with respect to her feelings regarding the process and her reservations with sharing brad with the others. When they we in Newfoundland, I loved her genuine expression of discontent in sharing Brad with the other women for the night, something that’s rarely expressed (or aired) on the Bachelor.

I really have to say, I think this had a healthy “Canadian” spin to the show- and it was amazing.

I’m curious however, since Brad was never picked up as a free agent in the CFL and his football career is essentially over (as per his own admittance: “Failed CFL Player” on twitter), has anyone seen any media reports/interviews where they have addressed WHAT Brad has been doing since leaving football? I heard from people in Toronto that prior to filming, he was working as a bartender at Earl’s- not sure if there is any truth to that.

With his education and persona, I’m sure that he’ll get some type of TV offer to host a show on some network; just like Jesse Palmer received lots of television offers following his Bachelor season exposure after playing football in the USA.

I didn't watch the season but enjoyed the interviews that were linked here. They seem like a very down to earth yet adorable couple. It appears like they have a decent shot unlike a lot of the U.S. couples. Maybe they could learn a thing or two here. :yes:

I watched a bunch of the videos of their dates and I really liked how real Bianka was with him. I didn't watch him with the others so don't know what they were like but he seemed to want to give her time to open up and relax with him. Can someone tell me how the "cheeseburgers" came about?

I loved the FRC and even the proposal which I'm usually against, laugh out loud

. His tears got to me. They're just too cute together. lovetogether

]If I understand that article at all, they just didn't see each other in person for the months of Sept and Oct. Considering how much of a press train Brad was on for the 2 months the show was airing, they likely didn't have much of a chance, but did see in several articles of how they were skyping each other. Also according to several interviews, they really look happy.

I understand, Auntie. I just hate for people to put words in my mouth. I realize they are OK. How could he move in with her parents if they weren't? LOL

How was that possible? They both live in metropolitan Toronto. Brad said the producers were great about assisting them in getting together during the 5 months. So why would they drop the ball and have not see one another during the last 2 months? That's just about the entire sequester period for Emily and Jef. That's a long time. I dont believe it. Maybe it was a misstatement.
