I was wondering the same thing. Do we have any idea of when the actual wedding is to take place?

The particular area of NJ where they live was not particularly hard hit. That would not say they could not have sustained some personal property damage due to wind or fallen trees or even still be without electrical power. But the sites being shown on tv are not the area that they reside or particularly close to it.
No good deed goes unpunished.

Didn't RS speculate it would be around the beginning of Dec., like Dec. 1st? Just a couple weeks before it as supposed to actually air, is what I was thinking...

Do we know what town they are in?
I can tell you that a WIDE swath of NJ was hit hard...not just the Jersey shore and Hoboken. Take a look at a map....I have family in White House Station, Bedminster, Paramus, Mahwah and Wyckoff (two places) and NONE of them have power. My WHS family member told me that her county--Hunterdon--is 93% without power still. And they are no where near the coast. The damage from the fallen trees is beyond belief and will mean that many folks will be without power for a much longer time.

They are in Princeton and JP tweeted that their power was just restored.

Great! Every person restored is a victory. No heat and no hot water gets old after about a day!

My heart aches for your family and the others that are in that mess up there. I worry about them staying warm and having food to eat. : ( Many prayers are going out for them. I can't imagine being without power for as long as some of these people will be. God bless them!!!!

Thanks, LoveDoz. I drove down to NJ on Tuesday to bring my parents back to warmth and electricity here in Boston (my dad has mobility issues and his stair chair would never made it this long!). Some of our family as of today have partial power thanks to generators so they are FINALLY able to get warm. My stubborn in-laws are "toughing it out" even though they could go get warm at others' homes (don't get me started...). But there are many, many people who don't have the resources to access these things so your prayers are well placed.

You're so welcome. Good to know your parents are OK, safe and warm. There's so many elderly people ( and others )there that has no one to kinda take up the slack in these situations. I can't help but worry about them. Great to know that some are getting their power back. I try to keep up with it online. Your in laws are braver than I am. I would have caught the first way outta there. LOL.

I live in NJ.(I actually live a few miles away from some of several of your family) My daughters and their significants live in NYC. I vacation and have spent a lot of time for the past 22 yrs in the areas being highlighted 24/7 on the news.
I am very well aware of what is going on...I just got my own electric back and have been helping out in local communities for those without. Donating household goods, food and support. So I am very very aware of what is going on. Princeton area was not affected an iota as much as the areas you have listed or the areas being shown on media. Thank god, enough devastation went around as it is.

It's good to know you weren't hit badly by the storm, Kasha. It's also good to know you are very aware of what's going on......
