It was a televised match made in heaven for J.P. Rosenbaum and Ashley Hebert, who fell in love on Season 7 of The Bachelorette. Once the honeymoon was over, though, it was time to get down to business, and they both decided Miami was the place to make it happen. The couple was living in Princeton, New Jersey, with Hebert commuting to Philadelphia to finish her dental residency and Rosenbaum traveling to New York to work for Greystone & Co. property development. Last year, Rosenbaum’s company was looking for someone to run its properties in South Florida, so the couple made a move. “Miami is the perfect fit for us,” says Hebert, who is opening her own pediatricdental practice. “Miami is a great place to start a business. All the areas are developing. We’re excited to be here and be a part of it.” The move could have been temporary, ending when Rosenbaum’s job as development director for The Mile in Coral Gables and 2500 Biscayne Boulevard in Edgewater was complete. But after living in Brickell for a year and welcoming their first child, Fordham Rhys, last September, it seems that Miami is getting the final rose. “We’ve grown to love it,” says Rosenbaum. “Once Ashley decided to open her practice, we knew there was no turning back. We’re definitely here to stay.”

I knew his employer wanted someone down there and I was pretty sure it was temporary. I read something or maybe a tweet that sounded they were there to stay, but I didn't know how it became permanent.

I can't blame them one bit!

To crown it all they are both looking just as great as ever!! Do you think it is a very recent photo? How long have they been married now was it in 2013 or have I got my facts wrong yet again. JP is about 37 or is he 38 now? This was my favourite couple out of this show there have been others but takes a lot to beat them!!

They've been married for 2.5 years now (2012). They got engaged 4 years ago. JP is 38, Ashley just turned 30.

Thanks bleu much appreciated time sure flies by it feels like just the other day that we watched them on the show. Wish I had a video of them to bring back all the memories again. Hope they have another bambino to complete there little family know Ash said only 1 but think JP said he would like 2 of them. They have no family in Miami correct as JP family is in NY & not to sure were Ashley's family is again but know it is not Miami, but could have cousins etc there. However even if no family they seem to be happy were they are now.

Growing up on the southwest coast of FL we always said Miami was New York south. It is very Northeastern in it's sensibilities with nicer weather better beaches and better taxes. So I can see them enjoying it and staying and both families enjoying visiting often. In the day of planes, no one is ever too far away.

Miami is NY South that's for sure. As a transplanted New Yorker its wonderful. If they're living in the Brickell area as the article says. its young and urban and vibrant, The beaches are minutes away and lots of young professionals. it should be a great fit.
