Maybe Tiger subscribes to the concept of "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer"?    

BA. Ha. Ha. It's pretty easy to keep up with Jef. Just look at his twitter for 3 minutes, about once a month.

Mia is exactly right. Jef was friends with Arie for quite a while, but I was always suspicious of his motives. I think he's a manipulative fraud. He was using Arie. Thankfully, Arie saw the light and had enough of him.

In what way was Jef using Arie? I knew they were friends, and there was some sort of fall out, but I never followed him so I don't know what happened.

I think Arie and Jef were friends; got along on Bach and continued. Quacks like a duck etc... Sometimes it is just that simple!

I am not a Jef fan but what did he use Arie for? I know they had a falling out....

I was a Jef fan, I liked the guy who wanted to bring clean drink water to the less privileged.  

I also enjoyed Arie, Jef and Micheal Nance's friendship.  I always found it funny that Jef and Arie got along so well when their fans hated the other so vehemently.  

I was sad when their friendship ended.  I never heard a reason why.  

I am not such a Jef fan anymore, but for me it is more disinterest.  I don't care much about rich kids traveling the world.  I am not into the Kardashians or the Hilton sisters either.

I did met Jef once and his parents and his parents did a lot of good stuff in this area. I really liked his mom, she is a warm and vibrant woman and was very sweet. She seemed quite genuine but not pushy about their mission.

i know why - all happened after sean and catherines wedding. fights over girls and jef being disrespectful. he then went on a twitter rage at arie and élan about dating bach girls.

I think Jef used Arie for publicity. For a long while, he liked being in the public eye. Then, without a job or business project to talk about, he seemed to shy away from publicity.

He's been especially quiet since Courtney's book came out.

I got the impression that Arie and Jef both enjoyed the publicity they were getting at the time. And to me that is okay. Arie was raising money to race and Jef liked being known.

I haven't kept up with Jef in over a year, so really don't know much beyond that.
