Has anyone noticed that it is Ryan (red boxer shorts) who knocks out Ames (pink boxer shorts and hammer toes)? Somehow I can see them using this as a part of the no one likes Ryan storyline.

I believe Chris stated in one of his interviews that he's hearing how "done" the viewing audience is with the Bentley angle and the constant references about him. Yet he keeps stressing that it is a reflection of the reality that played out at the time. Even if that was the case, I can't the see the upside of showcasing her weaknesses and making the lead look so insecure and obsessed this early on in the season. They usually save that drama for near the end after they've safely retained the audience. The Bentley thing could have cast a shadow of doubt without eclipsing the entire show.

At this point, what does the audience have to be invested in? It appears to be empathizing with the good crop of guys that she's not showing any true interest in and how they're getting the shaft, i.e. when she spends time with them or even kisses them she then tells us viewers that she's thinking of someone else in the VO. It's kinda twisted.

At this point the only thing keeping me watching has become the men and which one(s) of them TPTB are positioning to be the next Bachelor. Kind of like how interest in Kip, Reid and even Wes and Jake surpassed Jillian by the end.

I found, after rewatching the group date, JP making very similar types of comments as past F2s have made and really close to the kind that Chris L would make. Per this past week I would put Ben as f1 and JP as f2 based on his comments and some behavior as well

That is another reason why I am doubting that JP is F1.........waaaay too many comments made by JP that belongs to a F2 edit. That and I have always had a healthy sceptism when it comes to RS and his final 1 spoilers..........he has been wrong more than right.

Agreed - JP could be F1 but right now he's not getting a F1 edit. This season is proving to be difficult to determine a f1 from the edit, but I'm hoping once it's down to F4 and the majority of the drama is over that things start to fall into place - especially after Bentley is permanently gone.

Actually, I did the numbers and RS has been right 60% of the time - he was right about Jason dumping Melissa for Molly, right that Jake picked Vienna, right that Chris L was F2, wrong that Ali was single and wrong that Chantal was F1.

Didn't RS say that no one was chosen with Ali's season and he was sticking to it, then later, changed his mind, after it was proven on Fort that she did choose Roberto and Chris L was F2, then he said that HE found that out.........as far as I am concerned with his scores, he has only been right with Jason/Melissa/Molly. Other than that, he either didn't have it right or continually changed his mind. Therefore I am really taking his info with a grain of salt and making my own assumptions/observations. I really do feel from what my sources have provided that something's up with the final 1...........we have sc of Ryan in Fiji, we have a voice over of him there as well. We have a SC of what we are assuming to be Constantine per the shorts he wore in Phuket, at a waterfall in Fiji, we have other sources than RS confirming that we have HTD's for Constantine and Ben. We have no confirmed htd for Ames and JP, no confirmed JP sitings/sc's in Fiji, just a VO. IMO, we have a lot holes to be filled. and properly sleuthed out.

correct me if I'm wrong, but he was right when he said Chris L was F2 and he was right when he said Jake picked Vienna - I don't intend to argue, only that he has been more right than wrong - and because he has been wrong we all have to take his info with a grain of salt and continue to sleuth - I'm not sold that JP is F1, he could be, but I'm not seeing it.

He said nothing about who was the one chosen during Ali's season..........he said she chose NO ONE, then changed his mind a few days after it was sleuthed on fort that she did choose someone and it was Roberto. I do believe that he did have it right from the beginning with Jake and Vienna. That's my point.........I am looking at who he said from the beginning and not who he changed his mind about at a later date.........

I'm not convinced Con goes onto Fiji...

The guys go from Asia, back to the States for HTDs, then onto Fiji....one of the other guys could've brought their own orange swim trunks.

It kinda makes sense at that time that it could be Ryan at that waterfall since we do know from sc's that he is indeed in Fiji. Also, I believe from soundbites from past seasons, it seems to be the only final 2 that we hear from, talking about being in the FD location.........

Do we know what the guys received in their goody bags? In the past there have been items of clothing in the ladies bags. Maybe orange shorts were part of that.

Your post made me laugh. Wouldn't that be funny if MF provided four pair of orange trunks to mess with us. I am not convinced of anything this year. So confusing but I keep telling myself the one thing they can't mess with is body language and to keep watching the main players. I don't know much about body language but wish someone would look at it. Seems Ashley keeps legs and arms crossed in some situations. Doesn't that mean she is closed off to the person?

Weren't there sc's of the guys in the pool back at the mansion from the first few days and Matt also was in orange shorts??

Throughout the different threads, I am making the comments that the edit reflects the real life relationship. When the edit is wonky or very wonky, we usually hear that they relationship is also.
The producers worked with these people and know them. Also, we know that (whether this is morally right or not) the contestants take psychological and personality tests that last hours and one said have 800 questions.
That is how the producers can set up some of the situations and get some of these people to respond like they do. They know in advance who is internally "programmed" to act in a certain way - maybe inclined is a better word.

Situaltions are manipulated and people, too. The edit though can and does reflect real life situations. We have now talked about several of the seasons where the edit pointed ahead to what we saw play out. It was uncanny! Just look at Emily and Brad now....

This edit is trying to tell us something. I am dead set convinced of it. The very least is that the great love story they may try to sell us at the FRC is certainly not Ali and Roberto or Trista and Ryan because Bentley and the way Ashley is acting is way,way over the top, and neither JP nor BenF have gotten the edit that Roberto or Trista's Ryan go to make me believe in a good strong relationship.

There is a love story being shown in bits and pieces with JP. He had a PI episode 4 stating that he was nervous to "go for it" to become emotionally involved, so that could be his obstacle. Somehow I don't think his self-doubt will play as big a role as Ashley's self-doubt.

Question: In the preview she is shown being poled down the river on a raft by Ben C., yet during the elephant portion of the date they show only two elephants - one for Ashley and one for William. They also show only William sitting on the blanket for the picnic. My question goes to the episode description where they say that one from the 2 on 1 date will be sent home; yet I thought William would go. Does she let Ben C go really early in the date, and William during the evening portion of the date?

wouldn't that imply that she gave the rose to Will then decided to take it away?? I think the preview of 'ending this now' is a red herring, we see it during daylight hours and we have the burning of the rose in complete darkness, they dont' match.
