Yes, you're right. Jenn was very hidden the first few episodes.
To the weekly watchers...those who never read message boards or knew any spoilers....I wonder how hidden Ryan was in the first 3 or 4 episodes? How about Ian? Again, not what WE saw, but the casual viewer. I remember really thinking Mer had a much better relationship with Matt (that was the days before I found Fort). All my friends did too.

One of the show insiders has said before that new producers came in after Brad's first season, I believe? Something about the way they edit the seasons now is much different from before Brad. So reaching that far back might not be beneficial as things have changed.

I know that's been a popular response to the whole difference in the edits - but I think it was Bloomers (sorry if I'm wrong B) who pointed out that they replaced one editor, not the entire editing team. I think a lot changed after Brad's season and it had nothing to do in the change in staff members - I think Fleiss was esatatic with the result of that show and realized the drama brought the ratings.

oh I realize - i didn't mean to come off anything other than the bearer of what I've heard as well.

Yes. Not only that, but have we ever had a season quite like this one before? The closest I can relate is DeAnna/Graham, but this season is like DeAnna/Graham on steroids. The editors have to spin a story out of what they have to work with. Ashley threw a whole new can of worms at them.

When Graham left it felt real, you felt the raw emotion because we all saw the connection they shared, as did the guys - with Bent it was transparent and horrendous - I'm only shocked they didn't play up the Graham drama more.

The Graham leaving was visceral. DeAnna was almost beyond the beyond crying and you could see the pain in Graham's face. :Frown:

I thought Graham wanted to leave the show after his HTD, but they made it appear Deanna eliminated him instead? There is no doubt in my mind he was Deanna's F1, but did he feel the same way about her? I wouldn't think so otherwise why would he want out?

You are correct Love_Me.

I don't think that Graham felt the same way about DeAnna that she felt about him.I too have no doubt that Graham was DeAnna's F1.

IMO it was extremely one sided. He pretty much didn't even appear to want to kiss her and she was all but begging.

And you are right - he wanted to leave and so they edited as she letting him go. She was hopping mad.
