for me, one of the biggest clues that Ben is F1 is that JP is getting a classic F2 chemistry edit.

I would say that the purely physical edit goes to Bentley.

Let me put it this way – of the F2 that we know of, JP and Ben F, the chemistry edit is going to JP and Ben F is getting the more hidden/babysteps edit that has been indicative of stealth F1’s.

Maybe I'm looking at it wrong but Chris L, though not necessarily hidden, also got a baby steps edit and was F2. I would think that it is possible that Ben is getting the too little to late edit. I am still having a hard time comparing this edit to past edits cause I fell like you could argue either guy depending on which past edit you pick. I hope things become more clear in the next episodes, particularly after Bentley is gone.

Anders, but, Ashley has specifically said that the slow burn wins. Out of "chemistry" and "babysteps"... which edit do you see as a slow burn?

I have no dog in this fight - and I'm going strictly on edits (and as you point out the Bent mess is throwing everything off).

Ali's season was also a mess because of the Frank fiasco and people read alot into Chris' edit because TeamKip spoiled that he was F1.

Of course there's a case for chemistry edits getting the Final rose - Jerry, Roberto (but his chemistry edit came later when Franks' chem edit started to turn towards jealousy).

I just find all the 'in my face JP chemistry - everyone is convinced it's JP" reminds me too much of Deanna/Jason.

depends on how Ash defines slow burn - in my mind it means that connection that formed slowly but strongly - like Andy/Tessa whereas Bevin/Andy were hot hot hot right out of the gate.

Based on edits...in seasons past I would say that Ben F is indeed the F1. Ashley's fixation on Bentley imo, has forced the edit to take a 180 degree shift. TPTB had to find a balance between the Bentley drama and Ashley having a believable love story. While Ben F will most likely make great strides in the next few weeks, I think that JP being featured in every episode helps with their storyline.

I honestly like both guys; so no dog in the fight either! However, at this point I think they are pointing more towards JP than Ben. I readily admit that we just haven't seen that much with Ben yet although the next couple of episodes might give us some good insight and food for thought.

What I don't like is the bashing of the other guy that always, inevitably, starts once the camps divide. I always wish the "both guys are great, she can't make a mistake with either" time would last throughout the FRC for once!! :awesome:

I actually think JP is prolly F1, I just find his edit quite interesting.

I agree, the edits are (to quote Bloomers!) wonky this season. It will be interesting to see if the over the top edits continue or if they will settle down and get back to normal next season! Time will tell
