I think the kiss was not shown because their story starts now. The first several Episodes were the Mask and Bentley show..

A good question to know the answer to is have they ever not shown a F1's first kiss with the lead?

They showed Ali/Roberto's first kiss on the zipline.
They showed Brad/Emily (although I don't think the Bachelors normally talk about it like the Bachelorettes do.)
They showed Ed/Jillian's first kiss in the pool.
Can't remember past that.

Wow..listening live to Jesse C. and past contestants. Kovacs said, "Doubt Ben F is F1, he was down in San Diego last night" (and he laughed).

No it stopped right after Kovacs said that Ben was out and about in SD last night. Ashley's face looked like she was about to laugh then the sound and picture cut.

I don't think that the fact that he was out and about that rules him out.. just the way Kovacs said it and the girls reaction to him saying it was questionable IMO
