Episode 4 - 6/13 - Discussion - Spoilers

Okay, maybe I had low expectations, but I actually got a lot out of tonight's episode:
I really love all of Ash's F4. They are men of substance and I think integrity and they all seem smitten with her.
I really like Mickey as well. No special anything tonight, but I just think he is a really good guy who was just not right for Ashley. Ben C as well!
Ryan is one of those high achievers who can be exhausting to be around all the time. Not positive yet if he is a good guy or just weird. He does not seem to have enough self awareness however.
I got a real kick out of the JP/Ben/Blake convo..with Ben saying he kissed her but he wasn't gonna talk about it with them. JP is really into her, I can tell it is not just for the show..their scenes which we saw in the previews were hot. I also liked "we'll flirt later"..LOL.
The other thing at the group date which was so weird..what was with the lighting at the bar when JP/Blake and Mickey were talking? They looked like they were in a horror movie.

The one on one with Dino was cute. I do see him as a friend but I love this guy also. He is so decent and real.

Ames was a mind blowing surprise. Layer upon layer to this guy which are very interesting...again, not for Ash but will also make some lucky woman very happy. I liked his comment that "there's no list, just a feeling" also very telling to me was the thought about relationships and timing and what you need when.

And then there is Ben. I just love him and think he is cool and funny and wonderful!!! And they are crushing on each other BIG time. Sweet kisses which of course were not the first..way too comfortable together for that.
I see him as having confidence in himself in general but not in this kind of a situation. His comments to JP about having had the 1:1 tell me that is so much more his comfort zone. I think their encounter tonight belies the edit we have been given. These two have spent some "Special Quality Time" together which brought them to this point. I loved Ash's comments about him when giving him the rose.

Where he and JP stand within the F2 is a blur to me, but I would not be surprised if it is JP.

Finally, with all the greatness in these men, it is doubly sad Ash has spent any time mourning the loss of Bentley. However, in her defense, the guy played her well and at this point in the show, she doesn't know what we all know. Still, I want to slap some sense into her :giggle:

She does at lease acknowledge she has tunnel vision about Bentley.

I think CH was totally leading her in the convo about needing closure with Bentley so no big surprise there when he shows up. I am a bit confused by the previews which led me to think he comes back next week???

All in all, I'm glad I watched it.

Irishgal ~ I think many of us were disappointed (again) tonight. We were
all hoping (and expecting) Ashley to move-on in a BIG way with the
remaining bachelor's. Every scene was tainted with the echoes of Bentley's
name! It's a bit sickening!

Sad to say but no way is my darling Ben F. the F1. He can't be, given that Ashley raved about how JP's kisses were the best after she had already kissed Ben F. I surely hope the show wouldn't be that cruel.

Do you think Ashley dried her hair when saying the quote about J.P being the best kisser to date? It looked like her hair was dry to me so is there a chance this was before the group date moved to the bar when Ashley and Ben shared a more passionate kiss?

Oh! Can we figure that out? Thank you for giving me some optimism. (Not to imply I dislike JP. I think he is a doll. Just that Ben has something I think Ashley needs.)

Did anyone notice William's little sneaky look to his right when they were toasting tonight? Ashley just said something about having her husband there and Will gets a smirk and looks to the guy next to him. (have to go look at the video to see who)

ETA: it was Lucas. Its at the very beginning of the Episode 5 preview that Love Me posted.

Very odd and sad. Especially given the quality of Ashley's men. I think that she may have the best F4 of any bachette. And in fact all the men she has left seem like decent good men. So what's her problem?

By the time Ashley stops talking about Bentley the season will be over. She will see Bentley on episode 6. There will be approximately 4 or 5 more episodes to go including MTA and season finale.

To me, JP is getting an F2 edit...........especially after tonight's show. I am beginning to re-think Love_Me's source is maybe right and RS is wrong again............what else is new with him regarding the final 2.........

All along I’ve been thinking that Bentley was the guy that was going to be there in the end, but now I have a guy in mind. Maybe it will work better.

Actually the first part is right BUT the finishing part.................but now I DON'T have a guy in mind.
