‘Bachelor Pad’ star Michael Stagliano defends Kalon over ‘villain’ portrayal

Michael Stagliano returned to the third season of ‘Bachelor Pad’ and he was ready to compete with some new faces. He saw how some of the women competed for Ben Flajnik’s attention on ‘The Bachelor’ and how Emily Maynard slowly eliminated some of the men on ‘The Bachelorette.’ But Michael was curious to meet Kalon McMahon on ‘Bachelor Pad’ because of his villainous status on ‘The Bachelorette.’ He infamously called Emily’s daughter ‘baggage,’ so he was already labeled as the bad guy before meeting people on ‘Bachelor Pad.’

In his first blog for the show, Michael Stagliano explains that Kalon actually surprised him. He was nowhere near the villain that people thought he was after appearing on ‘The Bachelorette.’ “Huge props to the guys on the season, incredibly cool, laid back, stand up guys (YES! That includes Kalon!),” Michael Stagliano writes in his blog. “Kalon was nothing but nice, humble and selfless to me, and while America sees him as a villain... it is my hope you will see another side of him on BP3.”

It sounds like Michael wants people to know that Kalon isn’t as bad as he was portrayed on the show. In fact, rumors have it that Kalon and Lindzi Cox have found love on the show, so the fan favorite from Ben Flajnik’s season has fallen for the villain from Emily’s season.

Do you think Kalon is more like the man Emily met or is he as sweet as Michael and Lindzi seem to think?
