I think the editing is telling us that these two are still happy and together. If I learned anything from Bremily it's that if it's awkward and stilted on camera it probably is IRL as well. oh those two.

You and I are twinsies today, girl! I see nothing uncomfortable, weird, wrong, or awkward going on with Cupcake whatsoever. They have such a sweet and natural chemistry even when Ashley is feeling down and he seems to handle all her insecurities like a pro. If there's something weird about their relationship, I sure as heck am not seeing it on my screen.

What happens to finishing her schooling - and consequently her dental career - which has to happen in Phiadelphia?

She said she has this summer left and then she can take the boards for NY and start her career there. People in the medical profession move all the time and those are professionals who have already gone through everything, Ashley hasn't even done that yet because she technically just finished school. Or is that not what you're asking?
