Every time I think of Jackie, I can only picture her during WTA despite her "good edit" on the Bachelor.

This is from Steve's blog today about Ames on the group date. Too funny.

It’s Ames he was fighting. He might as well have walked into that ring in Hello Kitty shorts, My Little Pony headgear, and a Rainbow Brite fanny pack. It’s safe to say that not only was this Ames first fight, it’ll also be his last.

Do we have any idea how much Ashley was paid for this gig? I remember an early interview where somebody asked if this would pay off her student debt, and she said no, it won't pay for it.

Agree, she's headed to DWTS if she gets a bonafide offer after this ends, fiance or no fiance.

I'll ask this again, doesn't she have too much dance experience to be on DWTS?

Yes, and especially if she is partnered with Derek if he returns or with Mark, who both take much criticism for always getting the "ringers". And the diehard DWTS fans despise the crossovers between the Bachelor series and DWTS, so that along with her "ringer" status, it could get ugly on some of the message boards.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ashley never actually put out her shingle as a practicing dentist, but fully expect/predict she completes all the work necessary to state publicy, with accuracy, that she is a dentist, not a dental student. She's not Roberto. She's more like Ali or Jillian. Or Travis. Bright Lights, Big City. Pay off the Mega Debt, not incur the additional $300k or so it takes to buy or start up a dental practice. I suppose she can parlay her fame to a lender or other backers as reason to back her. That would be Roberto-like. It takes thousands of auto/home policies to start a financially viable (albeit small) state farm agency -- in addition to finding himself a lovely wife, Roberto kick-started his agency with his fame in a new town.

So, maybe Ashley's really going that route, but I think her Inner Dancer will seek out non-dentistry opportunities post show.

I think that Ashley will absolutely finish her DMD, but I dont ever see her setting up her own practice other than to be a second dentist in someone elses office. She is not Roberto, but I dont think she is Ali either. Ali is all about the limelight and I dont see that with Ashley. I agree her Inner Dancer will seek out opportunities, but I see it only in a "feed the soul" type activity not as a full time obsession.

I read RS' blog and the irreverant part of me is laughing hysterically. His discription of Ben's date was a hoot. I wonder if Ames and Jackie visited Ben while on their Napa jaunt last weekend.

RS made it sound like they never came out of their hotel room ...

I'm also wondering which two girls Blake hooks up with. I had to laugh yesterday when he was like "i'm really shy and quiet".
