That's the bummer. Sometimes it would be fun to see one of those preview things expanded so we could tell what exactly is going on. It is frustrating that they just leave us hanging. :Nod:

I loved the Ben/Dino stuff in this RS blog, had me laughing so much I was getting strange looks from my co-workers, lol.

True. The conversation Ashley had with Mickey was somewhat different than what we saw in the previews.

After Bentley, I think they are editing the strong relationship between Ashley and JP so that HE can see that she was always into him. They have to make up for how they let her get trashed and they know it won't have a chance of working if they let the guy think she didn't want him. They are playing games with the clips because that is what they do. I basically don't have a doubt in my mind that it's JP for the win.

I think the fact that it's so easy to get the bulk of viewers (and even spoiled ones) to believe that Ashley didn't choose anyone (as a result of the Bentley situation of course), is further proof that what we here see as "too obvious" an ending isn't troubling the producers at all.

How does Steve know previews are 'not even close' to what's going on? Sounds like many people are reporting to him that they're happy and everything is fine. I'm guessing the chemistry and love between them is even more evident than what is being shown and everyone involved knew where this was heading.

As for all the crying at the final rose ceremony, and the questioning of if she’ll ever find love, and her looking like she’s running away….PEOPLE, PLEASE LISTEN. Already tons of you have emailed freaking out. Calm down. They’ve done this for 22 seasons now. They’re showing you what they want to show you. If you fell for that nonsense last night, then you’re a sucker, plain and simple. I cannot put this any clearer than I did on June 1st: Ashley is happy and engaged to JP. Look at the last line of her blog today on People.com:

“Truth is the only way to build a real love. And in more ways than one, this episode marks the beginning of my beautiful, truthful, honest, genuine love story.”

Do you honestly think that she just said “this marks the beginning of my beautiful, truthful, honest, genuine love story” if she’s sitting at home alone right now a single woman and this whole thing ended badly for her? Please. Don’t even pay the least bit of attention to what the previews showed you. It’s all part of TV drama trying to suck you in. And plenty of you fell for it. I know this because I read your tweets and emails. Look, I don’t know what happens at the final rose ceremony in terms of the drama, I just know the result. We’re still a month away from that episode. If/When I find more out I’ll let you know. It’s obvious by what they showed they want you to think she’s miserable, alone, and it didn’t work out with anyone. Not even close to being the case. Just wait til August 1st and you will see.
