Re: Reality Steve - Thread #2
How long before the finale did RS say that Emily was the F1? Was it after the ATFR was taped? I'm just wondering because if he is wrong about JP being the F1, I want to know how long it might take for him to find out if it's Ben instead.

I don't care who they choose or don't choose, I learn that with Trista. Ofcourse his name is Jordan Paul, I've read it many times, trying to make a point. I don't hate anyone. I don't have a favorite, I like Mickey, and Ames is growing more and more on me, I wouldn't wish them on Ashley, not that I don't like her because I do, but because she was falling for someone else and they wouldn't have all of her. They deserve their own 50/50 love, and nothing less at the expense of my fantasy

PB, keep posting. Your take on things is always thought provoking for me.

and "drinking the koolaid" originates with the Jonestown massacre and means to blinding follow somebody or something..... and it's not a compliment.
That may have been the origin, but it means nothing more than being "on the same bus," or " jumping on the same train," or any other phrase that denotes having the same opinion. The original comment was said in jest. Dont make it into something it isnt.

When posters become so wound up in their "love" for a tv character that they cannot react in a civil manner to a differing opinion, I call that "drinking the kool-aid." It has nothing to do with the "proof" or anything else.
FANTASTIC post. THANK YOU
No one deserves to be beaten up or condescended to just because of their opinion, weather snarky or sarcastic or within any acceptable manner.
ITA. And the (minority) opinion that kicked off the whole firestorm was extremely condescending. The response to it was extremely snarky. That rule should apply whether you're posting a majority or minority opinon.
Perhaps we can all agree to disagree without being disagreeable. Okay, everybody shake hands in agreement.
Love that saying, and it's very applicable. In regards to the conversation that went on yesterday about our rights to our opinions etc etc .... each and every one of us is guilty of insulting, condescending, snarking .. and so on... other posters when we don't agree with them - even if it's candy coated or prefaced with an "in all due respect". You know the saying "you can dish it but you can't take it" comes to mind. I don't think it's right, and I know I'm guilty of it, but please don't anybody think that they're not taking part in it. There is no way we're all going to agree on everything and we make a statement that somebody disagrees with, they have that right to say I disagree because .....and then state your case. All of our opinions are valid to each and every one of us and to be told that we only think what we do because of RS or drinking koolaid....that's when we put our backs up.

Nah, he just talked about Emily's interview with Chris Harrison, the rumor about her being the next Bachelorette (untrue) and the rumor about Ashley only making 30K for her season (untrue). The rest was reader e-mails and non-Bachelorette stuff.

They're all on my TV to entertain me, and personally, I find the unexpected to be far more entertaining...
I would love to see RS have the rug pulled out from under him, not because I have any particular animosity toward him, but because it would be hilarious... and therefore, entertaining... to ME
